I waited 40 minutes for Part 1 to download, only to fine out at the end that it can't be played on my computer because it's not a movie file. Are there any other links that aren't only an mp3, but a video link? I'm hearing so much about how amazing the tv special was and I can't view it in the US. Want to see it soon! I recognised Sara, Cherisse, Martin and Dan, but I couldn't work out the other person. Was it David? (Is that even his name? Sunshine is the only name I really know him by:teehee: courtesy of Sariflor). And as a side note... I don't like Dr John very much. I love the feel of the song, I like the chorus, I like Mika's voice, and I like some of the parts of the verses, but there are parts that I really dislike. I'm hoping that I like it more once I get used to it, but I suspect that familiarity will breed contempt. Anyway, I quite liked Rain, which really surprised me, considering I thought it sounded awful at PdP last year. And I'm only at 9% of part 2, so that will have to wait for a while.... It was 2 o'clock in the morning and I was on top of my bed with my headphones plugged deeply in my ears when the show began. Everyone was asleep and I was there waiting for the show to begin. Throughout the whole show I have cried and cried and couldn't stop ( ) because I had hardly ever seen anything so BEAUTIFUL! (No, I'm not talking about Mika himslef) He was in his element there, in his adolescence's univers just like he wanted us to see it. It was an art-bomb ready to explode there and it did eventually. I was so amazed by what I was seeing. I tell you I have never felt this way about him. I felt as if I saw him the first time. I was astonished and so proud to be there on top of my bed in the middle of the night crying in silence impressed (to tears obviously) by this man's creation. What surprises me even more and dearly is the connections this album has with movies. Movies for me are what music was for Mika when he was a teenager. A form of escapism from this crazy world. My own corner where things can go JUST like I want them to. It is a sweet surprise of the universe that brought me to tears once again. I understood once again why I love him and what makes me feel so good. Alone there violently being given an overdose of art from Mika. Thank you for the links...
