maggie112 Posted August 1, 2016 Share Posted August 1, 2016 That's my video I have also filmed few parts of other songs but that's the only full video Sound was amazing, finally I could sing without my voice loud on my videos and I'm not a good singer AT ALL About the seated places, when he started singing Big Girl people in first rows started running towards the stage and people behind them followed (including me) security tried to stop it but it was too many people! Mika at first stopped saying that the situation reminded him of a gig in Lebanon, then he added something like "do whatever you want!" And he seemed to enjoy the crowd so enthusiastic I've been to 2 other seated gigs in Italy and every time some people try to stand up and run towards the stage but it was the first time security wasn't able at all to stop it at least for most of the show (other times the audience went nuts just at the very end of the show) Speaking just for me, it was amazing! I ended really close to the stage and I enjoyed so much, like having front row without any queuing but I can understsnd that some people felt really annoyed since the price was really expensive and that were expecting a really difference experience! I dont know if we can expect more seated Mika gigs in Italy after this one... Sabine64 Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) So here is my report, a little bit late but I needed to let my brain also arrive at home ....... When we got the date for Rome in February I was quite sure not to do an Italian concert in the middle of the summer with Queueing for many many hours in the heat but then this one was seated and so my friends and I decided to go to this one. I was a bit late and so I only got a ticket on the tribune but frontrow ( which was big luck as I saw later.....). We planned our trip for four days and rented a flat near the venue and arrived on Friday early afternoon and started doing Sightseeing. I think we aw a lot of Rome and it was worth all the sweat.... On Sunday evening we went to the bar to meet the other fans and it was fun to see all the faces again we had met during the last years. Later we went into the venue and looked for our seats and I met two lovely Italian girls and we talked a bit. At 9.00 pm the Show started without an support act, Mika came on stage an sang NPIH. At this time we all still sat on our seats but at the beginning of BG the Girls beside me told me to get up and go to the barrier in front of us because everyone got up and tried to run to the barrier..... When I stood there I saw that so many people were running to the stage from the back of the paterre and many people who had seats near the stage were left behind. At this time I was really happy to have my place upstairs with a wonderful view at the stage. It was a weird feeling to see half of the paterre was empty because all people were in front of the stage And that´s why I filmed a lot but I didn´t care if the vids were shaky coz I wanted to enjoy the gig not through my camera. He did Kick Ass which I never saw live before and Beautiful Desaster which I really loved. Stardust is one of my favourite songs live ever so I got them all for my last concert of this tour. When he climbed on the piano and it started moving I was afraid he could fall but he managed well. What could I say more than it was a wonderful wonderful concert and I´m so happy I was there. After the gig there were so many People waiting outside the backstage door, maybe over 200 and the security wasn´t able to deal with them all so they called police for help who helped to manage the crowd. After an hour we heard that Mika had left through another door which was the best what he could do in that Situation and we said goodbye to all People we know and went home to our flat. I know it will last a long time now until we will get new Pop concerts but I´m so grateful for what I got during the last 12 months and so happiness weighs so much more than sadness Edited August 3, 2016 by Sabine64 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
