babspanky
Just on radio 1 they said, what's no 1, is it Mika or the brilliant Kaiser Chiefs. Tough that they're only no 2 then mwhahahaha
Mika Mad
I went to Tesco this afternoon and looked at the album chart. Mika was in the number one position and I felt really proud and a bit emotional! (It was the first time that I'd seen other copies of the album because I ordered mine online and I don't get out much!)
babspanky
Heh, I know what you mean, I ordered mine from Amazon, but it hadn't come by friday, and I realised that the download had extra tracks so I bought it on download from Virgin, which failed to download, and they haven't yet replied to my query and I could wait no longer, so I had to go to the Woolie's site and download from there. So I have bought 3.
andi
On the hit40 they said Mika outsold Kaiser chiefs 2:1........ Way to go Mika:punk: lv, andi xxx
RosieLou
I think our Woolworths haven't been taking much notice of the charts. There's no Mika to be seen (Sold out!) and they've put Leona (zzzzz) at number 1 and The View at numero duo.
andi
Oh, goodness ----- Leona:shocked: , I'm not going to slate her as each to their own, But her song drives me insane. Good luck to her, but I hope they give her new songs at least to sing. lv, andi xxx
Angelic
A good game to play, in record shops etc, is "rearranging" CDs to suit your own personal taste. You can front lots of display stands with quite a few of your favourite bands' CDs ... I am so juvenile, aren't I?!! Shall I apologise in advance to those who have to work in record shops and clear up after tiresome people like me, or shall I just get my coat? Strudel
Right, nice big update of everything that's happend in the last week 'Life in Cartoon Motion' sold 108,000 copies to go to the number one spot. 'Lollipop' charted at number 62 with 2000 sales alone. 'Big Girl' charted at number 129 and suprisingly 'Stuck In The Middle' charting at 174. Not entirely sure about this one so please dont quote me but i think 'Relax, Take It Easy' has charted at 78, at the very least, higher than it ever has before
Cautionary Wife
There is talk of the Beatles taking over the download chart because the two Apples have ironed out their years' long dispute. Well I think Mika may well take over the singles Top 10, before the Beatles get their act together. A good thought. Ooops.... need to charge laptop battery...quick. CW. Strudel
Speculation at the moment, but we should have some midweeks through later on today... The Brits may have a very extreme effect on the album sales. Easily dropping MIKA off the number one spot

Raffen
Hi ! It's my first post, congratulations for the administrator ! Mika arrived in 12th position in French Chart with his album ! A very good beginning as Grace kelly is not often played on the radio ! Can't wait to see Mika in Paris on April !
Strudel
Right, details are in from yesterdays sales and LICM remains at the number one spot. Remember this is the data prior to The Brits being aired so can easily change !
RAK1
Hate to say this, but I have a bad feeling Amy Winehouse might get back to No1 in the album charts, after the Brits on Wednsday, like "Rehab" but not a big fan of hers.
babspanky
I did notice that the 'chart' thingy they have in Amazon which shows you the top sellers of the hour, she was top. Mind you that's only Amazon.
