I have been a huge fan of his for many years and am really looking forward to buying his record this week! I am sure it will be fantastic just like all of the rest have been. I also found out last night that he is, indeed, going to be touring in my home state, so I am so happy about that! I got into Rufus right when my boyfriend and I began dating, so his music is special to us. We're excited at the idea of finally getting to see him perform his songs live. So anyone else? I PICKED IT UP ON SUNDAY!!! DAMN ITS GOOD!!! A great album...a great follow up to "Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What I'm Not" I was not disappointed at all!!! I also love Elton John, Hot Hot Heat, the Beatles, Lily Allen (though I find her kind of annoying as a human being...ahem), Franz Ferdinand, ELO, Boston, Keane, Rufus! The band has said numerous times that after Gwen's concert, they'll be going into the studio...CAN'T WAIT!! What's this about Lily Allen??? She's in the news all the time....she seems like a spoiled brat, but I can't help but like her songs...lol.. I was going to go to her show (bought tickets and everything) and then she cancelled her US tour. *growl* I like the ones on your list too! Old school is the best. And I agree about his vocals. I think he is so underrated (at least here in the US). I am shocked that he is still a fairly unknown artist. I hope this tour helps him out though. I find that very sad because the only thing some people are care about is if people are homosexual and in the states that sometimes makes a big difference in someones career and that could partly be why.
