POPPING OUT In the wake of everyone's favourite pocket-sized popette, Anthony Callea, stating the bleeding obvious by coming out as gay, news has hit that British pop singer Mika has received death threats. Why? Because he refuses to discuss his sexuality. This is London reports that the Beirut-born, up-and-coming star, whose debut single, 'Grace Kelly', hit #1 In the UK upon release, told the paper: "I get hate messages all the time, a death threat. It was over whether I am gay or not. He wasn't happy that I won't talk about my personal life like that. Sometimes I think that I have made it, other times it is a bit worrying. "In order to survive I've shut up different parts of my life, and that's one of them, especially this early in my career, I don't really feel that it's necessary to know in terms of my music ... I never talk about anything to do with my sexuality, I don't think I need to. People ask me all the time. "Some people make records that are defined by their sexuality, but mine really are not. It does play a lot with campness. It has a theatricality to it. Why not? It"s pop music." Am I the only one who finds this tedious? Oh, by the way, Ian Thorpe reaffirmed his rampant heterosexuality in The Good Weekend on Saturday. Phew. Why the hell can't people just let the whole sexuality thing go!! he's not a pop star to advertise his personal life, he's here to share his amazing music with us. And why on earth would someone want to kill him for trying to keep his private life PRIVATE?! It bothers me.. people need to mind their own business.

I came across this small blurb on the top of this page- http://blog.cleveland.com/entertainment/2007/03/do_it_tonight_7.html and what it said about the new Paul Rodgers Queen really got me thinking.. Do you think Mika would have been a better fit instead of Paul Rodgers? Or maybe that would just make all the people that compare him to Freddie feel like they were just replacing Freddie with someone similar. I mean i don't think he is hardly similar at all but hmm. Also, Do you think Mika would ever be interested in doing that? I kinda think he wouldn't be since he worked so hard to get where he is today by being himself. he can be brown, he can be blue, he can be the lead singer of queen? lol so what do you guys think?? <3

So I was talking to one of my friends this morning and he's like "i saw a commerical today for the guy you're obsessed with's new cd.." and i'm like the motorola one? and he said it's especially for him so i started freaking out of course. so i get home from school today and i turned on the tv and it was on within 5 mins on MTV. It's a commercial especially for him advertising him and LiCM. I tried looking for it on youtube and such but it's just got a bunch of fun animation that we all know and love and clips from grace kelly video and it says quotes of what everyone's been saying about him, including Perez. I literally fell to my knees and started screaming i was so excited. So US people be on the lookout because it is the most amazing commercial i have ever seen. I'll post it if i can find it.

yeah it's other Mika's. i looked into it a lot cause i was very confused. they'res like a techo group named Mika that's pretty weird and they'res a japanese singer named Mika and some others too.

i've been trying to figure it out.. so far all i have is d f+a f+a d f+a f+a d f+a f+a a e+g e+g repeated a bunch of times at the beginning lol i'll try and work on it some more tonight, i'll probably be able to figure it out eventually :]
