  1. It took me a second but that's really funny. Anyway, they just hired a new dishwasher and he's a guy. Now I'm the only girl dishwasher because the two other girls got bumped to bussers because they've been there longer. I had better be next. I don't mind the general sex talk as much as when they're like, "Oh man, I'm gonna get laid tonight." or "How much do you wanna bet I'm gonna get laid." or when they talk about girls at our school. Blah, Blah, Blah. I'm like, "Uh, I'm still here."
  2. I just like that the whole reason they started the electoral college way back when was because they thought Americans were too stupid to vote for president by themselves.
  3. Well this is the one I was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnA1aW5WLk8 I thought Bella on the floor after Jacob cuts himself was hilarious. This one was funny too, but it's short. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzIrRF9SkSc
  4. The guys at my work don't even tell dirty jokes. They just talk about sex all the time. At least with dirty jokes, it'd be funny. It's so awkward when I'm the only girl there.
  5. I think the main thing Obama was trying to hit on when he mentioned it last night was that he doesn't think the government has the right to prevent those things. He said the same thing about abortions. It's up to the people decide for themselves. He also talked about equality a lot. Like how the people in the armed services aren't fighting for a red or blue country, they're just fighting for their country. I thought it was a good point. And you do make a good point on the difference between marriage and civil unions. I think Sarie has said that before too.
  6. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely. Maybe she wants the Cullen's to die because it was ROB. Anyway, what does she mean? We already know what happens in the first book. It's not like any of that can change. I think she's just putting on a guilt trip. As much as I liked reading the first chapter to hear Edward's thoughts, it's not like the book is a necessity. She's sorta riding the coattails of her other books. Sorry if that was mean too.
  7. Yeah, but it doesn't just boil down to those two topics. There are other topics. I just think McCain is too much like Bush and I don't want to listen to people bitch about the government for another 4 years among other things. I think main issue that will get people to decide (or it should) is the economy. It's terrible right now.
  8. Sorry, I should have said civil unions. My bad. He said that lesbian and gay should basically have the same benefits married couples have and the government shouldn't be able to prevent them from doing so. Though I know that civil unions aren't the same. I forgot that both he and Hilary are for civil unions but against marriage.
  9. I thought Barack's speech was amazing. The guy can really give a speech. (I may just be saying that because our current president fumbles over every other word ). I hope he wins the presidency....obviously. But really, I got excited watching it and thought he made some good points, especially about patriotism and service as well as gay marriage and education. I liked the way he addressed McCain. I'm not sure if McCain is capable of getting a crowd worked up like Barack can. As with anything though, if Barack wins, he better back what he says up.
  10. Haha, yeah. Did you watch the other one they had? I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing at either one of them.
  11. That is really, really funny. I like how they move their shoulder back and forth the whole time.
  12. Man, am I glad you told me that. When I started mine, I started bawling and stayed in my room all day then when my mom came home I told her good-bye because I really did think I was dying. Then she started crying and it was a great mother-daughter bonding moment straight out of a Lifetime movie.
  13. Haha, that was funny. I didn't know he was Jewish.
  14. Before clicking on it, all I saw of the thread title was The "What Would You Do and I seriously thought the rest of it would be "For A Klondike Bar?"
  15. Oh he's really funny, and he has the stereotypical New York attitude.
  16. I watched it the other day and almost cried...the father's reaction gets me. However, this may sound mean but I always giggle when he tells Harry to bring his body back...the way he says body is funny. I'm immature, I know.
  17. It's all right. The puberty movie really didn't matter because I had already started puberty before that. I seriously thought I was dying because I didn't know that "I was becoming a woman." I like how I've completely intruded in on this thread to talk about deodorant and puberty.
  18. I'm surprised I never thought he was good looking until now. I hated him in Harry Potter...well mostly I hated Cedric.
  19. I watch Anthony Bourdain on the Travel Channel all the time. Him and the guy who eats the nasty foods.
  20. Haha, you're much more perceptive than I am. I heard it and was like, "Oh that's the deodorant they passed out after the puberty movie in fifth grade."
  21. Suite: Judy Blue Eyes - Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
  22. Ohh...I just assumed. At least that's what I always thought of when I heard the song.
  23. So uh...since I had nothing else to do...and happened to get on this site...I was curious....looked up Mika and my, were the results surprising. I checked again just to be sure. physical : 96% emotional : 97% intellectual : 100% total : 98% I could have sworn I've checked this before when I was completely obsessed with Mika and the number wasn't very high...maybe it's 'cause I don't like him that much anymore.
