Well, I must confess it's a very interesting and honest question. The first thing I knew about Mika was his song "Relax" and more exactly a part of his song but I already loved it. I love high-peeched voices for men ! And then, some day, he was invited on TV, I discovered as well his physical apperance and also his attractive personnality and I'm still unable to say what I prefeed in him. But what is sure is I was immediately hooked and can't stop thinking about him since that very moment ! I don't know if its because of his looks, voice or personnality. I think the three elements are part of him and cannot be dissociated (not sure this word exists in English !). What I want to say is that Mika is beautiful but it is not the essential ! It doesn't spoil anything of course but I think I would love his music even though he wasn't. His music always makes me feel so fine ! His lyrics are so intelligently written ! And his voice, especially when he sings "over my shoulder" does thrill me ! It would be the same if he wasn't handsome. For example, I never though Freddie Mercury was beautiful but I love his voice !... Well, I never went on forums and fan-clubs of his, in fact ! Oh, difficult question, indeed ! When I was younger, I was as hooked on Prince that I am on Mika now and everybody kept telling me Prince was very ugly ! Same thing happened later with Eminem ! I think when you like somebody, he becomes better-looking to you than he actually is. So I would say that if Mika was not so attractive, I would like him as I do now ! And if he happened to have some horrible accident or disease which would totally change his appearance and made him suddenly ugly (which, I hope, will never happen ! Poor MIka !!!!) I would still remain one of his most convinced and faithful fans !

You know what ? I'm not that surprised. Mika looks very, very shy and seems to live in his little musical world. In fact, the same thing exactly happened to me. Nobody ever wanted to date me and I'm about forty. I spent my all affective life between my books, my cats, my DVD's and records... So girls, I'm sorry to have to tell you this but if somebody has to date Mika in this world, it's ME ! I'm the only person ever able to understand his situation since I live the same thing !

How can people think Mika is arrogant ? The first thing that "seduced" me about him was precisely his kindness and simplicity ! The people who think he is arrogant are totally stupid ! They are the arrogant ones ! In France, I think people have a different perception of him. Everybody I know agrees to say he is a great musician. I haven't met people who don't like him, yet ! As for his colourful clothes and long hair... I just LOVE them ! I like colours and I'm fed up with all those bald or shaved men ! Please, Mika, don't change your look !

Mica Penniman is a nice name. He could have kept it because it does fits him but MIKA sounds and looks good, too.

I was surprised to discover Sacha Baron Cohen's real face. He looks rather nice when he is not disguised as Borat or Ali G. But he DOESN'T look like Mika ! Nobody does, anyway. Mika is CUTE !!!! And the journalist who said Mika looked like Borat needs me to lend her my glasses (I am very short-sighted !).

Mika's music is also the best solution if you experience difficulties in waking up early as I always did. Now, I don't even have to put the record on : I just have to think "everybody's gonna love today, love today, love today..." or "big girl, you are beautiful...AHA !!!" with my eyes still closed and then I feel totally awake and fresh ! And I can jump off my bed ! Which doesn't mean I will arrive on time at work ! The other day, they announced "Relax" was to be played on the radio. I was ready to go and a little late, already, but you know what ? I just waited ! I just waited untill the song was over and left. I missed my bus, I was late but I felt so good !

Yes, any song created by Prince would be enlightened by Mika's voice (although I love Prince's). And Barcelona should sound great, too. What a good idea ! I think Mika can sing anything and make it sound better. Tonight, during the Taratata show, he even sang an old French song, turning it into something really ace !!!!
