  1. Loving Starship's 'We Built This City' XD Ahahaha, what a song. It got voted the worst song ever made in some magazine, hahahaha I loooove it, though... so cheesy WE BUILT THIS CITY ON ROOOOCK AND ROOOOOLLLLLL!!
  2. Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire
  3. Jimmy Nail - Ain't No Doubt I <3 the 90's!
  4. Ahhhh...! I just put on Lacrimosa's 'Elodia' after having not listened to them for ages, and it seems I'd forgotten how much of an eargasm their music is. I'm meeelllltiiiiinnnnng.... *is a puddle*
  5. It's been bucketing it down here in Tokyo today. D= My trousers are still slightly soggy... ick! Luckily, though, it's been reasonably warm for a rainy day today, so it's not too bad. Also, I much prefer the Japanese autumnal weather to the English equivalent - I'm still wearing summer clothes half the time! It's greeeaaat
  6. Wicked track, that Recently, I've been addicted to Erasure's 'Oh L'amour', Lene Lovich's 'It's You, Only You (Mein Schmerz)'... and by Spandau Ballet
  7. Browsing 'tinternet and listening to Otto Dix (Russian industrial darkwave with countertenor vocals FTW!) before I have to head off for uni.
  8. I'm sitting in the dining room, and I've just eaten a bowl of 'eggy udon bolognese'. I have to say that said 'bolognese' was certainly one of my most successful cooking experiments ever! Yum yum...
  9. Hahahaha, gotta love those crazy Japanese game shows XD Have you heard of Futoccho Cowboy (Fatty Cowboy)? When he's not doing one of his speeches, his entire vocabulary consists of "He~y!!" and "Pa~n!!" He cracks me up!
  10. Ohh, I've seen a few of those! They're funneh XD We do have a couple of lessons with a focus on colloquial language, though: listening lessons (in which we get to learn how to compress Japanese sentences into near-nonsense), and 'Learning Japanese Through TV Dramas' (that's not as dossy as it sounds though LOL, we have to learn a truckload of vocab each week, 'cause we get tested each lesson). Plus, I'm staying with a friend, and she has a biiig TV, so I get to watch random Japanese programmes sometimes
  11. It's 7:50 in the morning. In fact, I'll have to leave for uni pretty soon! I can have a simple conversation in polite Japanese, and I know some keigo (extra polite language), but I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to colloquial Japanese LOL. It tends to leave me going, "... Huh?" XD
  12. Lene Lovich - It's You, Only You (Mein Schmerz)
  13. Yeah, there's a bridge outside Harajuku Station where they tend to hang around... apparently they mostly come out on Sundays, though, so I haven't seen many yet! I think I'm doing okay in Japanese... I mean, I can successfully shop in Japanese XD I seem to be slowly improving, which is good, considering my Japanese somehow managed to get worse last year LOL... Oh, and yes, I had a quick listen last night before I went to bed! It's quite cool =D
  14. Eeheehee, yes, Shibuya rocks! There's ganguro and yamanba, but I've only seen a few somewhat yamanba-ish girls here and there so far. I've seen plenty of kogals, though! As for Harajuku, there are loads of cosplayers, gothic lolitas, and all sorts of other interesting people around there Actually, I'm finding the study here more enjoyable than I did in England, though that may be because I didn't get put in a very high level for Japanese classes... *LOL* I haven't been to any concerts yet, but I'm considering going to Midnight Mess this Saturday =D
  15. Heehee I'm on the Intensive Japanese Language Course at Waseda University, so I've been doing lots of studying, but I've also been able to see some really cool places, like downtown Shibuya, and Harajuku (I love the fact that I'm currently only 15 mins away from both places ), taking plenty of photos, of course! Ooh, I haven't! Will go and have a listen~
