I hope I can give her. She's always been so supportive and nice to me. Thank you !!!! But it's not perfect. I still can see many details I would do differently now that I can see it finished. I like it ! But I see some things I want to do better next time. Thank you, yes I did. I've just varnished it and I bring it to the exhibition tomorrow. :blush-anim-cl: The secret is there: I've concentrated on the left side of the hair. I wanted to make it look untidy so I did as I do with the details I want to suggest only: I show as little as possible (like the parts of some faces in the dark or in full blinding light). Trying to keep the real photograph in mind but not looking at it. Does it make sense?

I always start with details (I'm obsessed by details). This time it was his eyelid then his mouth, then his hand and then the shirt details, the sleeve (his left one), then his hair...

Thanks Indeed !!! He's the best model ever. Painting him is a bit like being next to him for a while, that is being allowed to think about him and him only for a few hours. (lol well... days lol) ... hrm this is why another portrait is already drying. I've started several portraits at a time and now I had to finish them to bring them to the exhibition. There is no keeping many half painted canvas all around my flat... If I miss Mika too much I can always start a new one

Tehehehe yep sure, more Mika meeting lol definitely !! (even if not, let's pretend ) Yeah I just feel the same, I feel deep inside that this is more thanks to him than thanks to myself. But then, it would be refusing his gift not to believe in myself. He has no time, but took some to speak with me, this deserves the best of consideration. And as Sting would sing: "If I ever lose my faith in you (Mika) there'll be nothing left for me to do" Then, not simply as a friend Pat or because I want to agree with Mika, but as an artist who is not so easily impressed, let me tell you that what you do is one of the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Your dresses are absolutely fantastic, and I objectively mean every word I've written now. Your dresses deserve perfectly to become your full time job. You can't lose with so much talent in your hands.

Thank you !! Yes Mika is so incredibly nice and always doing the best he can to support whoever he can. He's dedicated to us and I don't know anyone who does as much as he does. Oh and, all of the pictures of my paintings are there on MySpace, yes.

lol except you couldn't record everything cause you'd fall asleep before the end lol. When I paint, I start at one moment.... then when I stop, I often realize that about 20 hours have ran lol
