But there is a video on my main page on myspace !!!! The local television had made an interview while I'm painting a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE Mika (from the picture my friend Fanny took with my camera in Bruxelles, the first time Mika had a painting from me: the one with the purple background), it's in my flat and I'm painting what is now in my bedroom, just above my giant pillow. This one really means something for me as it's when Mika took several minutes to give me confidence about my paintings, and that had given me the strength to make it my job. Now thanks to these minutes he spent for me, thanks to his determination to make me selfconfident, I'm having a permanent exhibition in a big hotel in Kensington. And he keeps informed about it when he meets me which is more than I would have ever expected. This is why I will never be able to sell any of his portraits, and why he knows they all belong to him and him only. I'm forever his debitor. MIKA is my hero. Now you know why. He REALLY changed my life, efficiently and concretely.

Ask Mika, this one belongs to him. Yet, I doubt he'll want to sell it to you to be honest. Now seriously it's his so nothing can be a problem for me. If ever Mika wanted to sell it to you or even give it to you, it's just fine.

I'm using gesso (black and white) and a brush number 000 even on a canvas in 40x40cm like this one... well even on larger ones too. Do you want to get an idea of the size? I have a picture of myself next to this painting.

Take all the time you need to choose what you'd want, I'll always find a way to save time to make you one if you don't choose in those I've already done. You make me blush.

Zsina? Oooouuuuhoouuuu Zsiiiiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lol What does crappy mean for you????????????????? I'm no one if compared to you !!!!!!! lol Oh I'm a huge fan of yours Miss !!!!!!!!! I always have to fight with myself to keep in mind that it's not true, that it's just a drawing and not a photograph... in fact it's more respectful than a photograph, you tell more than a simple photograph. Sorry for the others but Zsina, you're the most talented of us all and from far !!!! Deep deep bow Lady.

I can't give or sell you stuff that belongs to Mika, but I'm preparing a surprise for you. It may be a solution for you to get... well not the paintings but something anyway.

Thank you for your compliment It goes straight to my heart. I always use acrylic painting (I've stopped watercolour for the moment). I don't think I've posted it on the MFC yet, but I have 4 blogs and one site, so maybe you've already seen it there. This one is from a picture a friend of mine took with my camera when he left Bruxelles.

All of my Maman's family's origines are from Spain, and my Papa's origines are from French Flander. But no one can explain me why my Maman, my son and I have Asian eyes.

I know portraits are very difficult and it's frightening because you always fear you'll spoil it all and seem unfair or respectless to the model (well for me it is all the time), but maybe you don't like what you do because you've just not found your style yet. I know I couldn't do "anything", I feel at ease with my stuff (and even not always) I do other paintings too, very colourful ones, but that's it, never ask me to do something classic. I'm perfectly unable to paint such things.
