  1. Nothing yet. Good, cause I'm going to eat dinner. $7 lobster calls. And it is > Mika.
  2. Shouldn't we get the email code in like an hour from now? UK time?
  3. It has to be New York City. I CAN FEEL IT. Or Boston would be cool too.
  4. Wooooo welcome to the insanity that is the MFC.

  5. DUH! Thank you Rose. I kept trying to think, "Billy Brown, Cautionary Wife, Billy Brown! It's in there!" But yeah, I think that was more of a promo EP than this one is.
  6. I definitely assumed the EP wouldn't have much to do with the album, because it's completely its own concept: four little tracks, Song For Sorrow. If the rest of the album was of the same theme, what's the point? I love these songs, but yeah, I dont expect to see Lady Jane and Lonely Alcoholic on the album. I don't know if they were even meant to be sung live. They're just little stories, you know? EPs are not necessarily meant to always be "tests" for the album, especially when they're in between albums, rather than preceding the debut of an artist. I think that other EP he did before LICM (I'm blanking on the name now) was meant to be more of a preview to LICM than Songs For Sorrow is to this upcoming album.
  7. He look Justin Timberlakeified, a bit. Not a bad thing, he loks gorgeous as usual. But I'm not sure if I like the feel of this shoot.
  8. I was looking for a song to choreograph next year... I needed to submit the proposal by tomorrow. THIS WILL BE IT. Ughh.
  9. It appears we've come full circle since the chatter before/at the beginning of the first album on this topic.
  10. Absoultely cannot wait for the videos, so happy for the concertgoers! You poor thing.
  11. I kind of just freaked out on one of my friends who was singnig Happy Ending. Then I came here.
  12. Mika is gonig on a Twitter craze currently, for the past 10 minutes or so. Which is weird when you get instant feed from Twitteriffic.
  13. Gawd, Mika finally got a twitter. Except he's not so good at tweeting yet.
  14. Tadah! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ICN4CLEB I emailed Mfcmag@hotmail.com too.
  15. I think I'm d.. d.. done. :-D All 55 pages. Now I ust have to figure out how to send everything because they are very big zips...
  16. I have a feeling I won't be totally done until the last minute of the 10th. LG is almost completely done, I printed out my proofs. I would say 95%. Artwork needs a little more revision but I would say it's 85% done, and I have some questions for Mel/ Mana which I am PMing thm about later today. Also with artwork, I'm having some trouble placing some of the pictures... they won't place as anything bigger than thumbnails. I will have to fool around and figure it out. Then I have to save them all as new files and I will finally be done! Yay! So that's the updates on LG/ Art sections.
  17. Yooo. I'm working on laying out the art section of the yearbook, and I'm considering putting some quotes from Mika that he's said so profoundly speaking about art, the importance of art in pop music, etc. I know they're out there! Would you like to help out and share some of your faves? Feel free to share... Thanks lovelies.
  18. I did get your PM, but I didn't respond yet because I haven't definitely decided what's up with the art section completely. There are some things I want to do but I'm not sure what/ where yet. I plan on getting Lollipop done very soon and I've started some art stuff but I will be more focused on that in a couple days to respond. So thank you!
  19. I don't know if I can get all of both Lollipop stuff and art done by the end of January (it's sneaking up fast!) but I will do my absolute best.
  20. It was like a Mika show without Mika and with more dancing. The costumes were really 'Mika' and I really wonder if the show drew direct inspiration from Mika.
  21. If you like Cirque de Soleil and Mika, this show was made for you. It was directly inspired by Mika and I am 99% sure! http://www.cirquelemasque.com/ Cirque Le Masque: Carnivale I go to school in Boston, and it is playing in a beautiful theater called the Cutler Majestic right now. FIRST OF ALL, they played "Love Today" to get the crowd pumped with this freaky clown that had a big belly and big buttcheeks. Like a circus freak. At that point I was like, "Oh cool! They played Mika!" but I had no expectations for the rest of the show to be as psychadelic as it was. The director was CLEARLY inspired by Mika. They even had white blocks to spell "CARNIVALE" and the first word they rolled them (and another prop into) was "LOVE" as in the "Lobe Today" video. I felt like there were some other inspired innuendos, even sonically. I highly recommend it!!!
