for christmas my mum and dad got me a signed photo of mika !!! and the live in cartoon motion DVD (the best DVD i own) and i've got a MIKA hoodie coming in the mail !!! i love them! p.s. i'll post pics tomorrow, maybe

i adore christmas !!! weve got the biggest tree up in my house! and a mini pink one in my room! but does anyone feel a lil bit bad about how there are people in the world without even the most basic things? let alone a Ipod or a PlayStation 3 so, what are you all getting for christmas?

The flamboyant pop star was due to appear at Hammersmith Apollo this evening and Brixton Academy tomorrow. However, today it was announced that the gigs are off as the Beirut-born singer is suffering from a virus and must rest his voice for 48 hours. In a statement, Mika said he had hoped to continue with the tour, after playing the first of three London dates last night. "I thought after last night's performance I could do the shows, but this morning it was obvious I could not proceed", he explained. "After consulting a specialist, I have been advised to rest my voice for a minimum of 48 hours. "If I did not do this, I would risk long-term damage to my vocal cords", said Mika, who hopes to reschedule the concerts in the New Year. . Mika releases a new single, "Relax (Take It Easy)", on December 31. Watch Mika's music videos here...
