  1. Did you see Mika's tweet about the yearbook?! :wub2:

  2. Heck yes! You said that on MSN one night and I thought it was brilliant. :roftl:

Do you want me to credit you? :naughty:

  3. Don't miss this video that just surfaced from Le Poisson Rouge... check out 1:32. :teehee:

  4. Sorry about your yearbook submissions! I think things got confused toward the end there. I'm glad your message made it in. Next year we'll have clearer deadlines to prevent that problem. :huglove:

  5. That's awesome! Nice work m'dear. :wub2:

  6. Ha, that's awesome! I find it fascinating the expressions non-natives come up with, because they do exactly as you did; use a phrase in their native language and translate it directly. :biggrin2:

And while I'm sure there probably is an "official" term for what you meant, it actually wouldn't be out of the ordinary for a native to use a phrase like "long thin groping thingie." :roftl:

  7. In the thread about the member who dropped her tickets behind her fireplace you wrote "Can't you use a long thin groping-thinggie? I'm sorry, don't know how to call it in english."

Just curious... what would you call a long thin groping thingie in Dutch? :roftl:

  8. I moved your Disney thread to Members Only so that Mika doesn't happen upon it while drinking his morning tea. :roftl:

  9. When do you think you'll be able to have it done?

  10. Sweet! I haven't figured out yet where we'll go, probably somewhere in the vicinity of Victoria Station so that Sara can get home easily (we fly to Copenhagen at like 5am the next morning) :aah:

  11. You're going to LOVE it. The Eurostar is awesome. :wub2:

And don't worry about trying to speak French unless you're fluent. The Parisians just look at you as if to say "silly tourist", roll their eyes, and respond in nearly perfect English. :aah:

  12. Nah, my decadence is limited to one set of gigs, so I picked the Scandinavian gigs since I've always wanted to see those countries. I wish I could have done London, too, but then I'd have to hang out in Europe for like three weeks. Which would be fine, if I had Mika's credit card... :fisch::roftl:

  13. I'll be there because I'm being decadent and doing Mika's shows in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm - and if I'm making the effort to get to your lovely continent in the first place, it makes sense that I spend some time in lovely London town with lovely peoples. :wub2:

That and, it's a 8.5 hour flight to London, and something like 10 hours if I went direct to Copenhagen. 8.5 hours on a plane is enough for me, thanks. :freak:

  14. Yo! Book Saturday the 13th of March off work, and plan to come into London. I'm gonna be there and we're gonna get a few peeps together for dinner or something. :drunk_sing:

  15. Babalicious, where are the bits you're editing for da yearbook? Lemme know if you need help with anything. :punk:

  16. I sent one more art file to your otenet.gr email address - please include it in the art section. Sorry for the confusion! Let me know if it doesn't seem to come through.

    Thanks!

  17. Welcome to MFC! You should come introduce yourself in our introductions section. :biggrin2:

  18. Btw, I think I forgot to remind you that I need 1 inch margins on all four sides of the pages for the yearbook. Thanks baybeh! :huglove:

  19. Or... you could sign into Facebook chat :fisch:

I don't think I've talked to you since you were 17, man! That's like, forever ago. :naughty:

  20. Sigh. There used to be a web version of MSN that worked through your browser, no download needed, but they've done something wonky and integrated it with Hotmail so now it's all confusing. :freak:

But you are, indeed, alive? :naughty:

  21. Better than the gibbled stream we tried to watch:

  22. I'm going to write a sad, mournful ballad called "I miss the days when Nono would hang out on MSN". :tears:

I suspect it will include a lot of big, sweeping violins and epic crescendos.

  23. Thank you for telling off that newbie who posted what she thought was Mika's address - I've gone and deleted it.

If you ever spot anyone posting Mika's personal info like that again, feel free to PM any mods online and also hit the "report post" button underneath their username - it's the little red and white triangle. That's definitely not something we want on MFC.

    Thanks again!

  24. Heya!

I'm looking for someone to lay out the poetry section of the yearbook. This would involve taking the text of the poems and laying them out on pages measuring 8.5 inches by 11 inches. Is that something you think you could do?

    Thanks!
