Thanks Sariflor and Sosi, Will be looking out for you guys. I feel all warm and snuggly now. If I felt like I did yesterday, I don't think I'd be coming down. (I was diagnosed a few days ago with diabetes and have been put on tabs, I just hope I don't have any unwanted side effects. Quite frightened really.) I am hoping this gig will go along way to cheer me up.

I'm hoping to make it down there. Look forward to meeting a few people AND hopefully Mika for the first time. It seems everyone has had a Mika experience apart from me. I'll live in hope.

Luckily a friend rang me to tell me Mika was on Radio1. I taped the interview, WAG and Poker Face. He was so good. Like you Laurel, I didn't hear Rain either. Hope you're feeling better soon. x

Thanks for posting a pic of the poster. Have been reading thru this thread with marginal interest. It doesn't matter to me what sexual orientation Mika is. Nor should it. We would not have a thread if Mika said he was really an Africaan!!!! It's just something one should accept as is, like the colour of one's skin. Mika is a beautiful human being who makes astounding music and puts on a great theatrical show. I suppose it is because the news is new. It was like this when Freddie was discovered to be gay/bi. Look at how his legend is looked back on. One of the most flamboyant showmen there ever was. I hope Mika attains this level, but not in the way his life is ever cut short. MIKA SHOULD BE AROUND FOR A L-O-N-G TIME YET.

Nice pics Karen, it sounds like you had a fab time. I wish I could have gone after all, but at least I made someone else happy. Mikafish and Holy Johnny were right at the front and got a good clip of them during Will Youngs set. (on the red button this morning)

I just watched the vid for him accepting this jacket. Wow, you really made an impression on him with it. To wear it at a gig AND on a video shoot, you must be SO proud. Very well done, I wish I'd have known about the project. I sew very little these days, but would have knocked up a patch. Not to worry. How on earth did you know his size?

Great pics angelcakes, we finally got to see them. Nice one of Mikafish in her gold sequin dress. She told me she would be wearing it. A few faces I recognised, some not, but it sure looked like you had a great time. Mika is so sweet for sparing his fans that special moment with him. All it costs is his time yet he makes so many people happy.

The whole event sounded wonderful. Reading about it and listening to the radio are 2 very different things. It sounded well organised and went perfectly to time, but seeing the pictures that people have taken, it must have made being there really special. Ruth, I loved your review, and everyone else who has posted their exeriences. Great reading. I so wish I'd have gone but I'm sure Mikafish and Holy Johnny (who I gave my tickets to) had a ball.
