  1. I can knit, but not done any in a long, l-o-n-g time. My hands ache after being on here for a couple of hours so I think knitting would not be a good option. What do you have in mind candboys?
  2. Evening ladies, how are we all tonight? Carri, what are you getting ready for? What is the big party?
  3. Night Vicky, Infact nighty night all. I'll be away to my bed soon. Take care
  4. So handy knowing someone down there isn't it Wendi? I hope you get sorted. Plenty of time to plan anyway. As with all in MFC, if I can help, yell if you're passing thru Lincolnshire.

  6. Hey blue, Hoe gaat het metu?? Is that correct???
  7. Sorry to hear you're still abit snotty Carri. I've got the Mika lurgie and lost my voice, but it's not a cold thankfully. Good luck finding the Futurama stuff. I've done alot of my xmas shopping online this year too.
  8. Hey now stop giving me ideas Wendi, but I think it might be a case of the infirm leading the cared-for! Hiya Carri, how are you doing?
  9. Wendi, you sound over the moon to be going to London next Feb. Pleased for ya. Wish I was going too......... If you fancy a break from travelling, you can always drop into mine halfway.
  10. Personally, I think he looks as though he's enjoying his job far too much. I'm surprised he didn't get lynched! Or at least not let down!
  11. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all your posts in this thread. Sounds like you all made the best of an unfortunate situation. Glad to know everyone got on ok and made new friends with 1 common obsession - MIKA! Looking forward to Part 6 Jemma................
  12. Neither have I, can someone posta link please, Thank you
  13. Absolutely well written Suzy. Congrats on getting the book to Mika personally. I'm sure that moment will retain in your memory forever. Can't wait to see Sivan's vid. When you see it too, it may even sink in that YOU DID actually meet him...it wasn't a dream. Pat on the back , hugs, and all that........
  14. Ok, Queen 7 times, '76 Liverpool was my first gig, '77 was my video shoot gig, '79 The Crazy tour which would have been Birmingham, '80 I think The Game tour again at Birmingham NEC '84 the Works tour at Birmingham '86 Knebworth '92 Freddie tribute concert. Oh I could go on and on about Queen, they're my passion. I've have never liked anyone as much as them, but since Mika came along, I'm finding myself as mad about him as I am Queen. Strange really. I will see if I can upload the Roger clip for you and Jen, but it will be tomorrow now. Still coughing, sorry. nighty night.xx
  15. Aww, that's a shame you were sick for Hyde Park. It seemed like such a fantastic show! Did you see them at all on their tour? No I never got to see them during the last tour unfortunately. You wouldn't believe my anger and frustration with my on-going bad back. That is what prevented me from doing virtually anything last year! (this is why I could hardly walk after seeing Mika on 24th Nov) Mandi, I'm so pleased for you that you got to see Queen. Yes, "highly anticipated" is an emotion I have experienced when going to see Queen. I know it very well. I do realise how lucky I am in seeing them 7 times (inc video shoot for WATC). However there are people who saw them more than I did. I'm just very proud of my 7 times record and being a long standing member in the fan club for 32 years! Did you ever get to see the clip of Roger on Sky nbews last Sunday? Surely someone has put it on youtube? I'm going to have to go.....I've got a coughing fit. I think I've got what Mika has. Losing my voice.
  16. Yes, you are right Mandi, some fans are not prepared to give Paul Rodgers the chance, but I totally agree with you, that it has given Queen (and the fans) a new lease of life. I for one, am happy for that. I wasn't well enough to go to Hyde Park last year. I normally would have done, but the live CD they brought out after that made up for me not going. I had friends who went and called me for Tie Your Mother Down, it was so fantastic to hear them live again. I have seen Queen 7 times with Freddie and will never forget the spectacular show he put on. KEEP QUEEN ALIVE I SAY.
  17. I suspect some would like it, others would not. I have had a life time of loving Queen and I know you're not saying; Mika replaces Freddie (even hyperthetically) in the band, but I feel Queen have a very different edge than Mika. I personally would love to see him join them for a couple of numbers, but Mika is more an individual. His creativity is working on his own rather than the collaboration within a group. Plus Mika is wonderful pop, Queen were Rock. (Having said that PR is blues rock, so I guess anything could happen!) I think Paul Rodgers has fitted in quite well but sadly it's not Queen. I reckon George Michael did a great job at Freddie Tribute concert in '92
  18. That's your conscience telling you not to accept anything less than the real thing. Which sadly is unattainable now, but your heart lies in the right place. A question was asked at the Queen convention this year as to what Freddie would have thought to Mika. Peter Freestone said that he would have accepted him as the genuine talent that he is. He would wish him well on a long future in music. Freddie knew talent.
  19. Oh dear, I knew this was coming. He's been working far too hard. I feel so sorry for all the poor fans who have travelled miles let alone UK fans. That must be devastating news, but PLEASE get well soon Mika... if you need anyone to mop your brow, call me
  20. Enjoyed catching up on the reviews, thanks guys. Bit sad today though, lost 2 jirds in 4 days. (rodent pets)
  21. Ah yes the invisible limbo dance, I remember that )

  23. Moriina/Naomi, sorry I don't know which is your real name but I was stood to the left side of you at Mika in Doncaster. If I'd have known who you were I would have said hello. I adored your sparkly hats and glasses. Your pics are amazing.. Hope you had a safe trip back home.
  24. Thanks Mandi, yes it was good to see him on TV again. I had to watch it twice to recall what he was saying, I couldn't stop drooling, he's my dreamboat! Mandi, I have seen your clip on youtube about Mika pinging your braces. I love it. Thought it was really cute especially when you asked him if he was teasing you. You have a lovely voice too.
