  1. My little report. I was there for 3 days with some italian fans. The auditions are a bit boring sometimes but with Mika is always interesting, so the experience is worthy, IMO. I noticed that there's a lot of chemistry between the 4 judges and they always debate a lot, more than the past year. Mika's italian is improved very much, he really cares about making a good impression but he is also more relaxed this year, I guess he doesnt feel the weight of being the new one anymore but he is the cornerstone (is the right word?) of the show, the only one who is able to give something special, something different that the show needs...maybe it will be funnier for Mika this year and maybe he will feel more comfortable to "experiment" more with his singers. At least I hope so. I know that many of you are not happy about this choice but I hope that at least he will be able to create something good during the show and have fun too. He was really nice with fans (old and new) during the auditions, he also made autographs during the breaks (received kisses from strangers..things that we all know he likes a lot ) and he also managed to get me on stage with him while he was left alone by the others...lmao...! He never had M&G with fans after the auditions tho. Anyway, I think the auditions are a nice way to see Mika in action without the anxiety of the live show. The amazing moment was when he sang Happy Ending, pretending to be a candidate..he seemed really anxious to do that...I feel SO lucky cause is more than rare to hear him a cappella <3 About the other judges: I love Victoria, she's very "fresh" and funny, she also knows about music but she doesnt have any technical knowledge and this could be a little tricky cause she often changes her opinion according to what Morgan says. Fedez is a positive discovery cause I didnt like him at all, I thought he was presumptious, instead he revealed a sensitive heart. Morgan is the usual Morgan..ahah! My short career as a judge LMAO
  2. Thank you Deb! I was very angry that day but I'm processing now... thank you sweetie!
  3. I apologize cause I won't write a report about this gig. I understand that you are really curious to have feedbacks from everyone who was there, but this gig was absolutely awful for me (not Mika's fault of course..just crowd problems, insane queueing etc...) so I dont have enough positive things to say cause I didnt see well and I didnt hear well either..anyway..was amazing to see him on stage again! And it was great to meet you all!
  4. Thank you SO MUCH! I couldn't hear and see much among the crowd () so...it's a great gift
  5. I'm not sure but there wasn't a collaboration with Chiara on 2012. Anyway..great news indeed!
  6. Dont want to make any mistake but I guess is not Mika and Chiara's version that won the platinum...is the 2012 version which, I guess...it's Chiara free
  7. Yes this way is safe, just dont do sightseeing alone, ok ? Yes, some of us will arrive saturday (but late, if I remember right at 8:30 PM at the airport). I dont know if I'll arrive saturday or just early on sunday. But if you want Nina you can PM me and tell me where you'll stay so we can work something out with the other fans
  8. I think the only thing you could do to be "safe" to bring it is always keep your camera in your hands during the gig so you can be sure to hold it very tight all the time. I will bring mine but is not so expensive anymore cause it' old.
  9. Humm Rose, as italian I can say Napoli is a bit different. I went to NY and I had the feeling to be safe everywhere, in London almost the same but Napoli is like harlem in NY where, before the police cleaned the area, was better to not go. In Napoli people steal (with guns) watches to drivers, people with motorcycle take off bags from shoulders and the problem is that in some areas those thieves are protected by people..it's like a mini-world of criminals that protect each other from police..it's complicated to explain..and sure is not everywhere in the city cause many tourists go to Napoli everyday! For example last summer there was the news that criminals changed the city's signs to museums or attraction to drive tourists to the dangerous parts of the city to take advantages of them...not an usual thing to ear everywhere else. During an event like a big crowded gig thieves can be among the crowd and steal easly. They cut bags with knives..fast and easy.
  10. I guess they should be white with the sign on the top. They should be equiped with taximeter.
  11. Taxi are overpriced (even more during events), dont think dangerous..but you need to choose only lincensed one (like everywhere else). Yes, Napoli is usually a little more "difficult" than other cities..you need to know where you're going..some areas are too dangerous and is better to avoid them. Piazza Plebiscito is ok though but is better to stay in the area and not go too far. Is just not about pickpockets, is about dangerous places to avoid. For example if in the centre of Milan you can walk with jewelry, branded clothes or bags without any problem (at least usually) in Napoli is better to avoid this behaviour to not draw thieves' attention. I'm not an expert of course and I honestly have prejudices about Napoli cause many people I know had problems there..me included..but maybe things have changed by now i just wanted to warn you!
  12. Will be like hell on earth...but at least is a gig..so..I'm in If foreign fans will come, please be careful, no expensive phones, jewelry, expensive watches and only few money with you. Also, i suggest you to find a room very close to piazza plebiscito. Taxi, metro and buses are dangerous even more at night!
  13. He rocked out! So happy! Love those pics, colourful! Anyway...yes....charity event...many of vips and rich people and the ticket is 1000 euros only ? I'm happy he was invited to sing there, is good
  14. Mika and Nick together again...hope will be good for the new album!
