I didn't watch the whole award show, but at the end, the credit music was the instrumental to "We Are GOlden"...not sure if they used it throughout the show. If they did, it would have been wonderful promo (shame it's not on Itunes yet ). The TCA have always been nice to Mika.

He's gonna change....not majorly, but I think he'll dress more.....professional, is that the right word? Maybe mature is better...but yeah. He said it himself that he likes to change things up after a while. But remember friends, no matter how he dresses, Mika will certainly NEVER be "normal" or "average"! REMEMBER THAT!

For those who read Perez There are many a time when I'm scrolling down when all of a sudden, "OMG, IT'S MIKA!"....then, I realize the title says "John Mayer blah blah BLAH"....I mean, they don't really look THAT similar, but at first glance (esp with the hair!). I ALSO gets confusing how Perez mentions John's girlfriend, who offcourse is named MINKA.

I am VERY disappointed, girls. This was sopossed to be a SERIOUS thread about your heavenly, cloud filled, angelic moment of touching someone who was appointed an angel HIMSELF! (there are PICS to prove it!) Don't go given me the grade A bullcrap that he is "just a human being" and "he's just like you and me" because MIKA is definetly NOT! And to see you joke about this VERY serious topic MAKES ME SICK!!!

Aside from being extremly negative, I think she has a right to be angry. But she is referring to HER personal experiences with Mika. Although, she poses somewhat of a point when she pretty much says Mika WILL do press and photos as long as he's paid for it (I am right, correct me if not) - but those examples are coming from what she saw herself 2 times. And how he didn't pose with her prolly was the final straw in the coffin, so to speak. IN ALL HONESTY, sometimes Mika CAN come off as being a little unappreciative aswell. With awards and such (like the Grammy's, for example) I remember reading something from him that said "oh, I dunno if I'm going to it, it's just a TV show" or something along those lines. And that time he ducked out of Kanye's party cause he "didn't like the music". Mika should have been honered Kanye invited him - giving Mika exposure to many American artists. I mean, he could have atleast LEFT, without complaining about anything, you know? BUT, we ALL have our flaws, don't we?

I would REALLY like to get to know him first. You can't go by how he acts in interviews. Yes, even if he is attractive, I'd definetly go on a few dates before "going out" as an official couple.

I touched Mika by giving him a firm handshake after his gig in Philly last January. I said "Congrats on your Grammy nomination." and he said "Thanks." Until next time.....

JUST to round things up that have been CONFIRMED by Mika himself. Incase you missed Mika's Chinese interview (or didn't watch the WHOLE thing), he had said he was going to be writing and writing all the way up to the summer. Then, during the summer, he was have a small tour (not sure what THAT would be promoting). After summer, he said he'd continue to write throughout the fall....WHICH leads ME to believe Mika's new album WON'T be in stores any time this year... I'm thinking late 1st quater or early second quater of 09 (nearly a YEAR away. )... HOPEFULLY he tours in North America again this summer (again, I dunno WHY he would be) but it would be great to see him in person again this year.

It seemed that throughout his Dodgy Holiday Tour (at least in the US), he had a camera follow him outside meeting the fans. My question is does anyone know (or even ASK Mika) what the filming was for? Another documentary? Personal memorabilia? Either one of those two, I'd say. But does anyone have an answer? If not, you can still speculate. I'd LOVE it to be apart of another documentary-type thing. Beings I went to the Philly show and had the camera pan right on me, it'd be fun seeing that.

Reminicing on GMA....*sigh* WHAT a day that was!

"Love Today" was played on an episode of "I Know My Kids A Star" on VH1.

A little late for posting but thati is REALLY cool! It's SO STRANGE to hear so many different parts of the song seperatly like that. Like, some instrumentals didn't even seem to be in the song until I double checked. So yeah, sorry to go off topic. I wish all artists released singles with acapellas on them...although, acapellas usually INCLUDE the background vocals. Looks like only DJ's are the ones that get the versions WITHOUT the background voices. I was OBSESSED with the Bimbo Jones remix of Grace Kelly last summer DUE to the reason of hearing Mika's voice better. It sounds AMAZING sperated from everything...ESP during the whole breakdown "say what you what...." REally neat!

I think I saw you when Mika was outside meeting people! If you are the person I'm thinking of, you certainly got Mika's attention. This person said she was head of Mika's granny club or something like that. He got a real kick out of that, from what I saw (you also got camera time).

I saw that happen! And she waved out the window, right? I just didn't see the person (you!)...What were you wearing? (sorry, weird question, I'm just trying to see if I remember seeing you at all, lol)...

Actually....ythat wasn't me (I'm 17, btw)...BUT I was standing right next to him too! haha...He was funny. If you can remember a few people in the area, I was wearing a grey hoodie and was with my sister (who was only 12) my aunt (who was wearing thick-rimmed glasses and smoking every now and then) was sorta near us aswell). I wish I stayed at the front of those steps when we first walked out...there was only like 2 people there...LOL.. But no, we went around the truck and waited near his tour bus with a few people...THEN had to come bACK. Ah well. It was just weird seeing Mika so close like that. And have him directly achnoledge and look at you as he shook your hand. I got a slight nod directed at me when he was leaving GMA, but this experience tops it all! Although, I have to admit, it was sorta fun being out there with the Mika fans during the GMA show...we suffered through the rain TOGETHER!

Welp....I'm back....it's 1:21am, my nose is still running from the cold, my ears are still ringing, and I'm still all jittery and happy! Yeah, get to see the show (my sis and aunt went with me again)...UNFORTUNATLY I don't have ANY magnificent pics like last time (if I would of known they would check a shoe, lets just say, I would have snuck the cam in in my sneaker) but I did get a few grainy quality clips on my cell phone (it's SOEMTHING) It was PACKED...We were RIGHT up front toward the right..SO CROWDED, but we were HELLA close. not reaching distance, but we weren't ALL the way in the back center or whatever. I actually saw a girl I knew from school who had graduated there! We chatted a bit, it was kinda awksward, but whatev....There were some drunks aswell who were assholes, at times (being idiots and pushing and pushing the crowd just to be funny). But it all settled after Mika came on. It was nice seeing him up close in the flesh again....NOT as shocking as last time, but it was nice. IT WAS HIS FIRST TIME IN PHILLY! AND WE WERE HIS FIRST AMERICAN SHOW WOOO...I sung the words to EVERY song, INVCLUDING the "new" ones he's been performaing since Oct...I swear, I was one of the ONLY people who knew the words to the new songs...people were lookin at me, too.. but it was great seeing him performa all his songs (not just 3) and how much ENERGY he gave out.. Such a great vibe in the room! AFTER THE SHOW, we were RIGHT next to the side exit doors, so we scurry out... There are a few people who are at these steps, so we hang out there for a little bit... We wanted to get him leaving, but we weren't exactly sure WHERE he was leaving at...There was a great big 18 wheeler and behind it was this big tour bus...so we hurry over there and there ARE baracades and harrdly anyone there. We figure this is great, we'll see him go on the bus. Unfortunatly, The guy said he wasn't going to be over there and that everyone had to come back to where we were originally... by that time about 70 people were gathared with these baracades. I was getting my cell ready when the security gaurd made the announcement Mika personally said NO autographs or picutres,....I was like NO PICS, WTF!?!?! So, I just kinda stood there...the gaurds were sorta making it seem Mika was just gonna come out, say goodnight, and head in this van. We see Mika's mom and aunt(?) walk down the steps, get into the car. Finally, after waiting an hour in the bitter cold, Mika makes an appearance...he is tightly bundled up (most of us were wearing t-shirts or thin jackets, lol). Thankkfully he walked up tot he crowd and began to shake peeps hands. LOTS of girls were giving him stuff and he was having conversations with them. We were in the end, but in the front of the baracade. So, Mika took his time, edging closer and closer. There was a camera following Mika around aswell (whether it wpiuld be for Mika personally or MAYBE another DVD for us). It focased, the light shining on us and I made funny faces at the camera was was like "yo!'...lmao. He was so close to US when he said, "well guys, I goot go to bed" when I SCREAMED "MIKA!" and put out my hand (lol)... I think he was a bit startled and so was I cause i got his attention. I shook his hand and weirdly congradulated him on his Grammy nomination...But I said it so weird due to the combination of the runny nose, shaking, and nerves. I wish I was up a little closer so I could tell him that I saw him at GMA, oh well. He only took a few more hugs when he finally said goodnight (I feel bad for my sis cause she had this thin ass coat on, he was right in front of her and he didn't notce her, I don't think. She's so young, too (prolly th eyoungest one in the whole groupd of people)...But hse didn't mind... And then it was like 12:17am and we hiked back up to the car. And that was it! WOO! I HOPE YOU READ THIS< EVEN IF THERE WAS NO PICS.

I got 2 extra Philly tickets if anyone is interested.
