The Mika on SNL thread got me thinking....Mika could SERIOUSLY be noded for a Grammy for his album next year! I mean, it's got TONS of respect from the high-profile entertainers and many people seem to like it, internationally speaking. I'm not sure about the categories, but I know there's an international one and a breakout Male one....Who knows what else he COULD be nominated for! Nominations don't get announced until January, but I WOULDN'T be suprised if our darling Mika gets nominated for one!!! WOULDN'T IT BE JUST AWESOME! Especially if he made an APPEARANCE!!

Whether it sucks or not, a large audience STILL tunes in every week and it's GREAT publicity for him in the states. I was thinking the same thing, Mika being on SNL next year... I honestly would NOT be surprised if he did make it on the show. SNL tries to spotlight a wide variety of artists (not just mainstream flavor of the weeks). I think Lily Allen was on it last year, if I'm not mistaken...so why NOT Mika, you know?

Yeah, my dad hollard for me from upstairs that the promo was playing in-between America's Funniest Home Videos last night! I was downstairs looking out for Mika's nominated category on the Teen Choice Awards over on Fox, so I missed it. But I'll likely catch it sooner or later, since I do watch Betty every now and then.

That first message is VERY misleading.....it makes it seem like Mika will be there himself.

WOW!! When exactly would this be? And what exactly are we paying for? You say an "entire floor open", does that mean we don't have to pay for the rooms? I prolly COULD go, but I would need to save up TONS AND TONS of money....if it's like in 9 months, I could prolly go. I can't confirm anything though (since I'm 17...I wanna see if I can find someone else to go with me....a friend)....

Of a star, that is....Like, now we have SO MANY opportunities to get all close to him and actually meet him in person (esp in America!), but if he DOES become a huge figure (which no doubt he will within the next few years), it'll be sad that his arenas will be bigger and more more MORE people in them. I mean, it's good for Mika, but bad for the fans that been with him since he started. It's like a win-lose situation. Anyone else agree?
