    Hiya Sarah, London was brill! I MET MIKA AGAIN! This time was longer and I gave him a hug and a present! Now I have his autograph twice! How are you, it was a shame you couldn't go it would have been great to have met you. How are you? xx

    Wow! I came home yesterday and am still in Mikaland! To simply be there at that breathtaking concert was enough, but to meet him again was the icing on the cake. He was so lovely to me and when I brought out a calendar for him to sign he even asked "Where shall I sign?" Awww... We had a laugh and I gave him a present to which he said "That's very sweet!" The concert was phenomenal. I went from jumping around like a loony to almost, I admit, welling up at times-the new songs touched me in particular. Mika is such a talented and lovely man who it was a joy to watch. I also met many MFCers-sorry if I miss any of you out- Sasje, Sariflor, Freddie, Neiobi, Dcdeb, Mikafish and the fantastic Cazgirl, who took a picture of me with her and who I spoke to for quite a while. You all rule, as well as those who I didn't meet. We're all amazing! GO FAN CLUB!

    Great! Thanks you are fab! I am generally thinking of a girly theme, you know, pink, with lollipop girls and make up for example, just girly things! I will be writing the text soon so do I pm it to you when it is done? Then, once the drawings are added and it is all finished is that when I pm it to avoca? Thanks for all your help xx

    Patricia, I applaud you on your bravery to share this story so articulately. I am a 16 going on 17 year old girl who suffers from Asperger's, so I understand exactly what you are going through. You should sit down with your mum like others have said, help her and explain just what autism is, you're NOT being a drama queen! I was diagnosed when I was 4. I found interacting with children my age difficult and still do. I 'stimmed' by rocking back and forth on a chair, which is quite unnerving to other people. I used to flap my hands when excited and still do not find friendships easy to make...but I look upon it as a part of me, not a disorder. Without AS, I would not be me. I am now proud of having AS, despite the difficulties such as hyper sensitive senses! If you need a friend, here's one. Take care and hope you can help your mum realise the extent of autism.
