Mika's music will evolve, like any other artist. I think it's good that he can adapt himself to so many different styles. That way, he never gets boring and never gets pigeon holed. I am sure his songs will still be tuneful. I really love HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE ME and really hope that it is on the album!! I'd really like to also hear Mika in some duets with other people (Not Amy Winehouse though) Not dueting on the album, but perhaps on TV, because it would be fun to watch. It's like I have been saying for months. Why even bother with The X Factor this year (except to promote Simon and Louis acts) when we already have a living, breathing,walking hunk of X Factor gorgeousness, who can sing better that all of the X Factor contestants, both past and present, put together. Oh don't worry, America can't hold out forever. I think they are already warming to Britain's adopted son, and I'm really glad to hear about the comercial. I wish one of Mika's fantastic songs was on an advert over here! Hey, guess what! I got onto Music On Demand, fine. Started playing Mika's video and, low and behold, the tight fisted gits at Virgin Media wouldn't let me record it! So I would sooner stick with you tube, after all, at least you get to see the videos for free, and they are much easier to access than with Music On Demand, where the artists are listed in alphabetical order, and even when you get to M, you still have to wait for the I etc. But thanks for telling us about it. OOOH I've only been in the club a month or so, and did not know about the book. Will there be another one, so that I can contribute. The only thing I am upset about is, I can't find out how to make pictures from my mobile phone (a motorola RAZR) go onto my computer. I've bought 3 different bluetooth kits, but still cannot make the two things connect. I'd appreciate any advice, because I'd love to be able to send a message to Mika in the scrapbook, but I wouldn't be able to put a picture onto it. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks for posting this. I have Virgin media. I have been gutted that Mika has had no airtime, not even clips of concert footage or the showing of his video. He's gonna win! He has to. He's the best there is. But when he wins, we win too because we'll have done it for him!!! The best singer/songwriter/performer, and the most humble of all celebrities! He is the only one who doesn't want to be called a celebrity, yet he's the only one these days who truly deserves the title. He doesn't want his face on album covers, or posters, yet he is the most gorgeous looking guy with a smile to melt the hardest heart. Instead of acting like some male prima donna and acting like he's owed some worship, he'll hug people without hesitation. How many other people even in everyday life, are like Mika? Not many, I would say. He has a singing voice that reaches the stratesphere, and a speaking voice that could melt the polar icecaps. I've pre ordered the DVD. In a way, ialthough we have to wait for it, t's best it's coming out AFTER the MTV awards, because, if it's advertised on TV they'll be able to say... "The new DVD, from MIKA, the winner of the MTV awards for best solo, and Best Addictive track." That would be brilliant. I am still so annoyed that Mika's Happy Ending, has received hardly any mention on TV. Someone tell that guy to get stuffed!!! I agree with Mika! I absolutely hate those gay guys on TV who are always going on about their sexuality. Like we are bothered. At least Mika is being himself, whatever that may be. But I will just say this, one day he may have to say something. If he gets with someone, for example, and if it is a man. His fans would wish him well. The country would wish him well, and if he wanted a relationship, he would have to just say those three little words, and then, perhaps people would leave him alone. Also, I don't believe he's worried about how he's percieved in America. They wanted to take 'Billy Brown' of the American version of the album and he refused to let them do it. By the way, I just looked at my last posting, and I noticed that when I said Mika had won, I called you all "guys". I hope you realise, I didn't mean that literally. I've become quite American in my way of speaking and to me "guys" just means everyone. I know all us girls have voted for Mika, but I do wonder about who he'll settle down with, a girl, or a guy? Can anyone guess what I have seen with both of my hungry eyes? Mika 29!!!!! 'Sex-On-Legs' is there guys. I love him, and I love all of you to bits!! Wait until someone tells Mika he has won. Where do I start!!! I'd always heard radios in shops of course and just went about my business. Then one day... I was stopped in my tracks? "Who's singing that fantastic song?" "Who's got that gorgeous voice?" "Oh God... is there a note that guy can't reach?" "He's deffinatly not Sissor Sisters, or Justin Timberthingy. He's way... way better than anyone I've ever heard!!!" Then I saw a clip of him on TV, singing that song, which turned out to be LOVE TODAY. Grace Kelly had got past me somehow, but when I heard it on the album, I knew I'd heard it before and I love it. After listening to his album, and finding out that he writes all those fantastic songs himself, I went online to see him in some concert footage... and that was it!! I was totally hooked. I am 53 years old and a fan of a popstar who's younger than my son! How sick is that? But I don't care. Mika has knocked years off me. But I think, if I had to say what it is about him that is most special, I would say... He is such a loving person. He's affectionate with everyone and does not have that attitude of "I'm a celebrity... so worship me." Instead, he's like the boy-next-door. He's also very brave to tackle issues, like the ones he tackles in that song Billy Brown, but he said in an interview that he dislikes intollerance and at least he is willing to use his music to end predjudices, which can only be a good thing. I think the world is a much beeter place now Mika is around. What he has been through in his past, and with his disability, yet has become the unique and special person that he is, is nothing short of a miracle. You have probably guessed that I love Mika... but if you haven't... yes I do. I love all his songs, and really love the new one "How Much Do You Love Me?" Are you all voting for him? I certainly am!! I'm a Christian and regularly attend church. I love the Lord Jesus, but would never try and force people to adopt my beliefs. I believe in setting a good example in life, letting people know that I am a Christian, and then if they want to talk about it, that's great, if not, I'd never push them. I don't know what Mika believes, but he mentions Jesus in at least two songs, Lolipop, and Holy Johnny, so maybe he is a Christian. If his father came from America, chances are he had a Christian upbringing. For the record, since we are talking about Mika, I'm not one of THOSE so-called Christians who believe that gay people are going to hell! That would only happen if they were premiscuous (not sure if I spelt that right) and straight people would go to hell if they were premiscuous too. But if someone makes a committment to someone else, in a loving relationship, I don't honestly believe there is a problem. After all, Jesus did preach that love was the most important thing and I certainly don't think that love is ever wrong. I also think that Mika is a very loving person. He always gives so much to his fans, when performing, so I imagine anyone who gets with him would be very lucky indeed.
