Hi all, I was wearing a Mika T-shirt and hiking a popular route in Cape Town (Lion's Head) and while I was walking a European man (I think Italian), pointed at me and shouted, "HEY MIKA. I LOVE MIKA" I shouted back, "I LOVE HIM TOO" And we carried on with our hike as we were going in opposite directions

Hi, Anyone here a fan of Bastille? I love their music. Very upbeat and fresh. I am still getting into their latest album, but I had Bad Blood on repeat for years. Finally! They will be in South Africa soon (October), I am looking forward to it.

I love James Corden. I found him because of his carpool karaoke, which is amazing and we need to petition to get Mika on that show. WOW. And then I watched Gavin & Stacey and realised he was in it and part of the writing team. He is really funny and seems like a nice guy.

Hi all, it's been a long time and I haven't been able to keep up. Wow, guys! 10 whole years! I completely remember our baby photo poster when we celebrated our one year anniversary!! I am truly in shock that is has been that long. I would love to join, but as most of you know, I am all the way from South Africa, so about 10 - 15 hours of flying time away depending on the location you choose, plus I spent all my savings going to see him in Lake Como (for the first time, absolutely worth it). I will celebrate by myself and hopefully win an online competition if it is open to me! Yay!

I am still reminiscing about this beautiful show. It was wonderful to meet you too, Victimofthetimes!

I just posted this in the "Before" thread so am copying it here: Thank you MFC! The concert was amazing. Definitely worth the 16 hours of travelling I had to do to get there! I had nothing but DVDs to compare it to and the DVDs does not do it justice. And WOW, meeting him absolutely blew my mind and definitely justified my years of fandom. He is a wonderful person. Meeting other fans was unreal. You are all so lovely and it was great to finally see people who felt the same way I did. Where I am from, the dialogue goes like this: Me: I am finally going to see Mika!!! Everyone: Who? Me: Mika, the singer! Everyone: Who? Me: Relax, take it eeeeasy? I could be Brown, I could be blue? Everyone: Oooooh.... He hasn't made music since then hey? *facepalm and exits conversation* Anyway, sorry for waffling. Seems the excitement hasn't left me. Ps. Even though his stage jokes were in Italian, it seemed pretty funny. Hahahaha Thank you all. I am doing this from my phone, so will upload photos etc when I find a real computer.

Hi Marie, Since I don't have a Italian phone number, does that mean I can not win? I am available through email as my hotel has wifi and I will be checking it regularly. I am not sure where I can even buy a SIM card here. I can get my hotels number if that helps? I have already entered and so has my husband.

I just checked the weather, it seems like it could go either way!! What happens if it rains with thunder? Does the show go on?

As he is planning a M&G, does it mean there is no point of waiting for him after if you don't win a spot (hoping to win, planning for worst case haha)

Fantastic. Maybe the Sinfonia Pop will be on sale. We are staying at a small BnB so there is a chance of a curfew, and they haven't replied to me, so I am just going to pitch up and hope and pray they let me in in the wee hours of the morning!

I don't know if my hotel has a curfew. Gosh. Doesn't say anything on the website. I have messaged them to let them know I will be coming in late that night. BTW, will there be Mika merchandise on sale? When and where? I have not bought Sinfonia Pop yet and thought it would be nice to be able to buy it at the show? Thanks!
