  1. Oh gawd! You just reminded me of something Sheena shared - she was menstrual at the time.
  2. Marleen posted a brill pic here: http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1224005&highlight=marleen#post1224005
  3. Now wouldn't that explain a lot of things! lol (being a nurse, I can vouch that full moon leads to crazy behaviour!!!lol)
  4. Hiya Vix! I've read a bit of your recent postings and just wanted to let you know that I feel for you and all the others who suffered disappointment last week, and any backlash since then. What an emotional rollercoaster ride it must have been! So great to be part of the end of a tour, and of something as special as an afterparty, but it must have sent most people's hormones and emotions into high gear (completely understandable - i think Sheena phrased it something like this (but she was a tad bit more graphic:naughty: ): what can one expect when you put 150 people who want to be intimate with one particular guy all into a cosy room together?!?). Hang tough, girl!
  5. Hi Sariflor, t-shirt guru!!! Thanks for that vid - i couldn't help grinning throughout! Love it! Great to see Andy (is he now going by Fluffy?) enjoying his position of privelege so much
  6. Hey Zoots! Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all your YouTube stuff! I have posted some Mika concert vid too under CattieGurl's account. (was also at Toronto concert Jan 29/08- we live in London) Yesterday was the Creature CD release date - we picked up 2 copies and they are awesome! The 12 step program is listed in there too - just gets funnier every time we read it! Also, CowBella is my hero for lots of reasons - the most recent is she hand delivered a letter after the concert to Mika from my daughter Cattie Gurl! (we didn't know if he'd come out to see fans afterwards or not, but of course he did ) Creature's Khandahar music video at Creature rocks!!!! :punk:
  7. Hi Ju Ju, Try these links - you may know that Cherisse wrote some tour diary entries and you may find some pix. It's hard since the drummer is often relegated to the back, but she does get front and centre when she's drumming the garbage cans with Mika http://mikedolbear.com/story.asp?StoryID=1508 http://mikedolbear.com/story.asp?StoryID=1484 Good luck!
  8. Not only funny, these guys are Mika fans.. I love you, CowBella and the rest of the band!! This ... from Creatures blog: [February 2, 2008 - Saturday WE LOVE MIKA (AND THE BELL CENTER) Mika is the ****! What a show. We all had crushes on him and all the super foxy, super friendly people in his band. Damn those British accents are sexy - where can I get one? Their fans are awesome too. Everybody danced. No one threw tomatoes at us. The harshest things they threw were teddybears, which was great cause now I don`t have to go to bed alone at night. The cream of the crop was playing the Bell Center. It was a wet dream come true.... definitely the wickedest day of my life. Thanks Mika, you hot, hot, amazingly talented, sexy thang, you! Check us out at the Bell Center: May all your wet dreams come true too, CowBella P.S. Did I mention that Mika is really hot and sexy? Well he is.
  9. Well, I have to run again - Cattie Gurl (my daughter) needs some help.... See ya soon!
  10. Crystal, hope all is okay with your kitty.
  11. Thank goodness there is somewhere for them to go other than the gutter and the alleyways.
  12. Nighty-night, (ex-) Penguin Queen, lol, soon to be _______??? A tiny hint perhaps, Rose? Animal, vegetable, mineral?
  13. Hey Diana, I am back....to reply to your Q: I worked in an acute care hospital for 18 years (pediatrics, surgery, medicine, day surgery....) then me old knees couldn't keep up the pace, so I went to what is called TeleHealth Ontario - registered nurses give health advice/teaching over the telephone. Sounds like your work is very challenging and rewarding too. The patients must love you. How sad to be labeled as a "lost cause".
  14. aww, Saranayde is a darling! I would, however like to point out that she is far from hopeless (see quote), being a v talented singer and dancer! Thanks for posting Ioana
  15. Gotta go do some work around here - will also check back a little later..... See ya then!
  16. Smarteljk eten, Martine (sorry for the spelling)
  17. Yes, there is nothing like good cheddar....and Dutch gouda too!!
  18. Hi Deb! I gotcha on the Duncan Heinz/Hines lol. Good to see ya!
  19. There is a story there. She is named after the detective Kinsey Millhone who appears in the alphabet mysteries (A is for Alibi, D is for Deadbeat, etc. etc.) , not the sex researcher (Kinsey Report) lol since she is quite inquisitive....
  20. Hey Kath (just catching up on thread) - did you put any Chicken Tonight in that food hamper????
  21. Our Kinsey grabbed my husband's Blackberry off the kitchen table one evening and had it out of the case and in pieces by the time she was discovered. Tim was able to reassemble it but has permanent souvenirs - lots of tooth marks all over it! lol (well at least she made no long distance calls!) When she was 3 months old, we had the worst time with her messing up her crate in the night (diarrhea) so, one morning I brought a stool spec into the vet's. They poked through it and said, "Well, we'd send a sample off, but there is no stool here!" First glance, it looked like dog poo, but it was all non-edible stuff like plastic, wood, rug fibre, etc. that had traveled through her digestive system. So, we had to monitor her every move outside to make sure she stopped eating things she shouldn't! And now she is fine.
  22. Wouldn't want anyone thinking he was having trouble getting it up when he's got all those poor "idols" bending over (to use Mika's phrase)
