Well Mikasounds sent me the email around 5 something in the morning, and that's on west coast time...tickets are supposed to be live @ 5pm EST I believe. I'm excited for all that get to go...Supreme good luck to everyone on getting the tickets they want! have some happy and safe travels -
Popping back in as the school semester's coming to an end...Yeah I feel bad to neglect this thread... I think Prince has to be aware of Mika, plus didn't Mika attend some type of Prince event before...I think there are pictures of it too. I like the fact that he has songs that cover all styles of music, even in their topics. I do prefer his 'search for deeper truth' songs cause they just uplift, cause for all that's bad in the world, there is that much more beauty to delve into. Not that I don't love those downright blue songs...since I'm a sucker for melancholy tunes, there can be beauty in sadness. Anyways, I'm just waiting for a tour to start, in the meantime, check this oldie out. The Red Zone are two sections located outside the walkways that have their own concession merchandise stands, it's an auction. Like smaller inner circles on the sides containing about 300 peeps on each side. Some people have been getting RZ tickets for less than $150. Good deal if you ask me since you wouldn't have to line up early like GA and could leave your spot without much difficulty getting back. stand up comedy is awesome, and thanks Lol, yeah Moment of Surrender just does not do it for me...still reminds me of a leftover 90's pop song I love the second version...it's how I sing it all the time cause its faster so I can get more words in...Funny you should mention that as I wore my shirt today...because it was clean not bearing to mind I got tickets earlier in the day subconscious celebration i guess... Your birthday...that's cool! I'm considering this as an early b-day for myself since it is a few weeks after. Well I was able to get GA for the Vegas show so that's a definite possibility as I plan to get there early to get close to the stage if I don't get the Red Zone tickets. I'll be sure to be on Adam's side. hey, u never know...

That's funny well not that funny but when I put in the search terms sunset, ice cream, and on the rox, the ice cream man website came up, at the time I thought it might be relevant as they're involved with the music scene especially events that take place at the Roxy but I just thought I was going off the deep end since there were other ice cream truck that ran down sunset too...but now it's nice to have my nancy drew skills intact again what I do want to know is what everyone picked for their treat, I would've hijacked that ice cream truck for myself!...I'm craving for some sweets so I'm heading to a dippin dot's right now ooooh that reminds me, those in l.a. should hit this ice cream place*Mashti Malone's* near the Roxy....rosewater ice cream and wafers if you like that stuff...yum ok i'm outta here!

ooooh, did we just skim over the album... I think the excitement of so many tv appearances and such caught our tongues well from the start i liked No Line on the Horizon and fell head over heels with Magnificent, enjoy Breathe, Born in fez, Cedars of Lebanon. I find I can listen to it when I'm doing schoolwork, relaxing, and dancing well as least on the more upbeat songs...Overall, it grows on me more and more

just popping in as things have been pretty hectic but in a good way especially after going on a John Mayer cruise that certainly threw my biological clock out of whack. nico collard, no worries about the poster, the same thing has happened to me many times at record stores, always impatient or something... las vegas presale is 2morrow for me, still aiming for a ticket i think...just so sleeeepy and there's all this talk about mika and ice cream

I see...Twice!? Good luck on ur classes... What's everybody doing in hospitals...are there parties going on that I don't know about? Hope all of you are doing just splendid now Cool that people are getting tickets over in the UK. They seem to be in higher demand there with the limited amount of shows. I've read about pre-sale starting at midnight, why can't they do that in the US. 10 in the morning is way too early for me! Still waiting for the Las Vegas pre-sale, should be soon though after this week...can't wait!

Indeed he did...I think you can still get it if you look around I think he should come around to the other side of the world after he does his promo here in L.A. I plan to be cruising well...just my luck, Prince's website will launch on March 24th so I can get in the site and pay the $77 and listen to the album then. I'm still going to Target to pick up a hard copy when I get back because sometimes old-fashioned things are just swell. oh are you delving into the web design field, cause PS helps of course you have to know html for the web... the fact of the matter is that me and my fam always tease the dude for how he looks like he has on permanent eyeliner...so he shouldn't be the one to talk... Like I always say crack the window...that way they can listen to the music echoing... it's midterm crunch around here and what this i hear about Mika close to finishing the album...and U2 selling out shows...Mr. Jackson, I could go on but you get my point...:eek:

Well it certainly helps if you're taking a course like I am...makes it so easy like butter. Did he talk this time around in your dream...that would be a shock! Yes petitions are hard work, I think he should come to your area. I would sign it even if I don't live there. Oh isn't that the best CSI show, he was brilliant. Yeah that doesn't make sense, all the re-routing when your shirt can just be at your door sooner. Sorta U2-related: I was in Whole Foods last night and my dad pointed out U2 on a cover of a magazine and remarked in jest, "Is that why Bono wears shades?" Lol, Bono had on his eyeliner which I can understand but it still made me laugh!

I know, I ventured over the pics thread a while back, and it's amaaazing the wealth they have over there. I had to hurry to get out since I would've been there for days especially since I know how to master Photoshop now. I do hope you'll be able to catch them sometime. I haven't even seen Mika live but it's good to have lots of other hobbies/artists so you don't go insane! Well the Las Vegas Stadium holds around 40,000 whereas the L.A. Rose Bowl holds around 100,000. Since they are not playing close to the Bay Area, I'll be flying to see them so the LV one really appeals to me... Oh before I forget to tell you, my membership shirt came in today. It's nicer than I expected since it's American Apparel so you have the softness and fit. Finally a small actually fits me. I think that means you might get yours in a week or so.

Smart choice of pictures, Birthday wishes to the wonderful Adam too... Hope we get our shirts soon and watch the DVD at least once sometime, that could be a close substitute for not seeing a show this time around, again I said close Now I'm set on the Las Vegas show when they officially announce it since it's pretty much the smallest stadium on the tour so far... I'm going to do GA this time plus I hear the concert goers in LV always are considerate meaning you can leave ur spot and come back to the same spot. oh yeah I found this...Prices for the seat u get, it's estimated but looks pretty close to what has been released so far:

my cd came in the mail too (last week)...i didn't get the shirt either...maybe they will send it later... about the slane castle cd, I had forgotten how passionate that concert was with Bono's father passing away. I remember now why I only watched the dvd once...such raw emotion for all of them. Yay and bummer... I'm sure they will add a few more dates to this leg, there's always the next leg but that defeats the purpose of the membership. Here's to good luck for everyone!

Hahaha, I know before the site made the change, it was a nice look, but now I haven't been back unless I read something new as happened like if the eerie mood is gone, lol. It reminds me of that interactive game Prince had, it was fun and vast but all of those dark hallways and similar thrillerish music traumatized me a bit. Again this is coming from someone who has retired of scary movies, I sleep so much better at night. But guess what I got in the mail 2day, a LotusFlow3r email. Of course I will be on a cruise the week of when his album drops. I suspect that a tour will make up for it though.

Nice to see the dates...I made it to the breathe group since i let my membership expire but it's all good I think I might go to the L.A. show unless they add a date for northern california... Hope that the else wheres of the world, U2 will be playing in or at a city near you! So everyone doing GA? I'm going for it this time most likely, though I still don't know what ticket prices match which seats?

It will be called "Kiss The Future" Tour according to the article but u2.com says the "u2360" Tour, either way both fine by me and it looks like the tour will be all stadiums so far... At first I wasn't too keen on the idea of stadiums since I'm spoiled with arenas but my perspective has changed now...I hope they play the giants stadium in SF...that would be awesome... I hope you guys get the chance to meet any of the band...I'm fine since I'm too lazy and bomb in the making small talk area...I can do much better at Telepathy but of course it has to work both ways I watched the Bono Diary on u2.com, the one in the car...hilarious, the camera angles and trying to think of something interesting to say...I think now I have an all too clear impression of his bottom face. Gotta love them!

Aaah I get it now...nothing like learning something new. Oh yes....good news in all one day is overcoming me...Music is Alive! (in the most non-sappy way) I hope to make to at least one but depending on where they tour in my area...I would like to go to 2 shows p.s. I noticed that I use the rocker head here more than any other thread, just shows u how rocking U2 are

hehehe...excactly what came to mind... Honestly I thought you meant Bono or another member of the band. Coolio...whatever you can do will be just dandy... Helpful peeps are always nice...glad you were able to come across one. Okay second round on the quiz, I got 5 right including #4. Is a trolley a "European" term? Because I was envisioning dessert on a trolley as in San Francisco trolleys that you ride on downtown. That would be awesome though.

Ooooh I'd like a poster if someone hasn't already taken you up on your offer. Our local record stores have been closing down ...so that leaves me Best Buy, Target and the likes... So just let me know if that wouldn't be too much work for you... About that quiz you posted...my brain cells must be dull cause i couldn't think of a single answer off the top of my head and i am like zealous with all their lyrics and song titles...yes it must be lack of sleep Bummer. Typing in titles for each post, that would be a many postings never written. I'm as lazy as it already is.
