    It did seem like most of everyone in san jose was at the show when we got there, it was packed! I had row 9, aisle seats, so there were many times Lupe and his band members passed by me along with a few of the Warriors platers, but I'm too shy to go up to meet them, I feel it's a little of of my character. The view was nice as well, you could see the "lost on a planet, shapeship" theme pretty well. I agree with MIKA and Kanye being alike in vision although Kanye could do without the sailor cursing and angry tantrums....wait that might be a little bit like Mika but not too much

    Name is Ashley, means something along the lines of "ash tree" To top it off I was named after the "Ashley" in "Gone With the Wind", yes, he was a guy : )

    That's awesome you won tickets! I went to the first San Jose Show and loved N.E.R.D's set the best, although I wish they played some more of their older stuff, either way it rocked. Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West were awesome as well, they were all awesome. I'm going to the second San Jose show and am excited, this time I am definitely going to get the Paris Tokyo Lupe shirt. Glad you had a great time and got to shake Pharrell's hand as well!

    I'm from San Jose, I secretly like it because of the history of abundant fruit fields before today but i still have a desire to live in San Diego one day cause let's face it, good food, music, beaches and concerts....I would say San Jose is second best to me, still a nice place to be... It depends what you like to do, cause it's pretty diverse here

    His hair does seem a bit lighter...Although it could be the dirt, but one thing's for sure, they are all back to short hair again ...that usually means they grow it out during the tour maybe from being away all the time from a hairdresser:naughty:

    I love it too, Although I love all his PopEye songs as well as Me and My Arrow I thought the same thing, I was all excited that Mika had covered this song...but here's to hoping

    Oooohhh that reminds me of Matt Dusk, I love his version of Two Shots of Happy, One Shot of Sad...similar style to Frank Sinatra That's funny about the Curlies Message Board/No Poo post, because that's exactly what I was thinking when he mentioned doing his hair the 'natural' way Luckily my hair always smells like violets... Plus I can now begin to understand why most people think MIKA is stalking them

    Wow, Thank you every1 for helping me finding the right interview...means a lot:thumb_yello: I agree it does seem the interviewer had a hidden agenda...what that was I'm not sure I think that's why I like this one, because of the weird psychological underlyings going on...it's the Nancy Drew in me:naughty:

It comes from his sorta of cheesy movie, "Under the Cherry Moon", I like it better than "Purple Rain" in some ways, if you minus all the lovemaking scenes but it's Prince I guess On a Coldplaying note, I can't wait for the tickets to go on sale this Saturday Everyone make sure they check their on-sale date which most of it I think happens this weekend if u really want 2 see them in concert this year

    i think more than anything i am happy by all of the excited responses from everybody, it seems like every1 is hearing from a long lost friend ...but then again it could be the euphoric highs i'm getting from this piece of cake that i am eating

    I don't know if u have already seen this interview where Mika sings a bit of Prince's Kiss, but it starts at the 13:20 mark, here's the link: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2pyhn_mika-live-in-taratata-full-performa_music then there's another interview where Mika mentions Prince that I can't seem to find anymore but I remember he was sitting at a desk with a guy interviewer asking Mika about his sexuality and whatnot and he mentioned Prince, Elton John I think was his response somehow... Actually if anyone has that one, that would be ideal!

    Wow that was faster than I expected...tour in 2008!...My show will be smack dab in the middle between my John Mayer concerts For those who might not know, you can pre-order the album on iTunes and get the track "Viva la Vida" right away So far I cannot get "Violet Hill" outta my head...all the possible summer concerts and summer food is making me giddy!

    that makes me a bit happy too to know that he's in Cali As for a concert venue I'd love to see him in Nor Cal...it would have to be the Shoreline Amplitheater...any seat is basicially a good view..looks a lot like the Greek theater But if he went to San Francisco...I would take the Filmore...although i'm not sure if it would fit all us MIKA fans
