  1. As much as I could, about 1 or 2 hours a day, 6 days a week . Normally at that school people had lessons 5 days a week but I asked for extra lessons, was addicted to ballet . I did not just have classical ballet lessons but also contemporary, improvisation, caractère etc. Although I think classical lessons are the most important. Do you still have dancing classes? 30 minutes en pointe, that's long!!
  2. What exactely did you do to Mika ? I'll post a link to the worlds best dance compagny (I think) It's the Netherlands dance theater. When in prof. balletschool, I would save my money and go to their performances as often as I could. They could bring me to tears, really. After posting the link, I'll promise not to talk about ballet anymore and studie my French . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRa31Dv_IlA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZ5CWhJro4Y&feature=related
  3. Tu as eu des leccons en pointe? Oeh, the pain! But sooo much fun! (don't start talking with me about ballet, I won't stop ).
  4. Ah, I have this video (well, the frappés)! I have done RAD, wanted to get my elementary (after I had lessons in Russian style) but my balletteacher quit and I didn't feel like taking classes with 10 year olds so I quit too . Ones I realised I couldn't do ballet on a professional level anymore (I have been on professional ballet academy) I quit. I am a black or white kind of person I guess, either I want to do something really good, or I don't want to do it. Still love love the ballet tho.
  5. Fouetter I know also from balletclass . Those balletclasses come in handy now, while learning French .
  6. Frapper un chat . C'est mal . Well, I know the word Frapper from balletclasses, isn't it something like kicking. And, my curiosity brought the proverbs and sayings in . That's fun!
  7. Ah, it was the word pulling I think, that put me on the wrong foot (or is it leg) .
  8. Merci beaucoup pour le temps (you spend to teach me)!
  9. Yes!!! That sounds like fun! Who wants to pull a cracker with me . Is that for adults only? If I can get some past the security on the airport I will bring you some. As long as you promise not to eat them in the middle of the night and keep me awake with your crunching .
  10. :naughty: I'll never forget it after your explaination .
  12. Definately table dancing . With our without London coppers (tries to get the image of the stripping men in -and later out of- copper clothes from the movie: the full Monty out of her head ) . Carrie, great that you can come, nice to meet you!
  13. It's not that naughty . That's probably a good thing cause you are exited as you are already about this party. I have a deal: I'll tell you what they are if you tell me what you mean with crackers . Ok then, I'm weak: knackebrod is Swedish (or maybe Danish or Finish, Sienna probably knows:naughty:) we call them crackers here, it's not bread, it is hard, it crunches when you bite/chew them. It can be round or have another form (Dutchies, help me translate "rechthoek"!).
  14. Ahhh that's true (although some of you have partied already together I heard ). Our first and not our last .
  15. Non non, c'est pas simple pour moi! Et trous ou trou, je ne connais pas le mot . Mais je vais essayer les textes, merci beaucoup!
  16. A bit, thank you. Not sure if I am able to use it correctly tho . Professeurs, est-ce qu'on peut avoir des excercises avec le future, passé etc.? Je trouve ca très difficile. Comme: j'ai, j'avais, j'aurai etc. Est-ce que c'est possible?
  17. Marianne, what a wonderful job you have done! I laughed so hard reading your comments at the photographs of the transformation. I am curious where this is going, if people really are going to make minioutfits of the ones Mika wore at concerts, that would be great!
