  1. another question: in an official letter, you should start with Dear Mr./Mrs. name but what should you write when you don't know the name or title of the person you're writing to? 'Hi' is too informal, isn't it?
  2. Is it: Normally, I would come by myself, but... or Normally, I would have come by myself, but... ? About an event in the future (and I'm not coming by myself )
  3. I asked Sandbag: The tickets that we’ve sold as GA standing are actually category 1 and are general admission tickets (some seats and some standing on the floor). not the balcony
  4. We do have 'being green behind your ears' in Belgium, and that means being inexperienced. But that exists in the netherlands as well, no? but being green... of jealousy yes, but nothing else. Not that I know of at least
  5. really? i've never heard that one before... and i'm a native Dutch speaker. Hmm maybe it only exist in the Netherlands.
  6. yeah me too. He sounds quite german though
  7. That's what I mean. If you lived in Italy, you wouldn't be proud of being quarter Italian, because everyone there is Italian, but of being 3quarters English, because that makes you different. I think. People are mostly proud of something that makes them different.
  8. The new year makes me think : do you say two thousand ten or two thousand and ten?
  9. Belgium: -Flanders: Rain #8 (last week #15) TBWKTM #19 (last week 28) -Wallonia: Rain #4 (last week #5) TBWKTM #16 (last week #17)
  10. I think that that pride only comes when you don't live in your own country (anymore). I would never say that I'm proud to be Belgian as long as I live in Belgium. But I do think that if I moved to... anywhere in the world, I would start to feel proud as well. I think it's just a part of finding out who you are, and where you belong. Does that makes sense?
  11. Clock. I have an obsession with clocks. Kids or children?
