I'm happy to see that post but I'm sad because I could of gone today! Why did it have to be on a school night. Wonder what the vogue pictures look like.

That is a neat bracelet. I wonder where I can get one. Anyone know? I'll try to get a flashing heart sometime. I'll have to order it myself, and even then my Mom will still see it as weird. XD

Ewww. Yeah that is going to far. Oh, did I mention I almost got in trouble for bringing Knitting needles to school for a drawing project? And yet your allowed to bring scissors (Knitting needles are blunt. You can do more damage with a sharp pencil).

Yea, I agree I think it's awesome that he can feed of energy like that. But he should be able to dace well without it. I'm just really sad I can't see him in concert tomorrow and see him dace and sing live. The worst part is my Mom was going to pay for the tickets and everything. The reason I can't go? It's on a school day. Though she does have a point sadly.

I know! For all we know we could get away with one or two, but our school is really strict. For example we never had a gang problem or any problems, yet last year they banned bags that where bigger than a manila envelope! Oh, and if you defend yourself when someone is hitting you, you get the same/worse punishment. I could go on and on about my school. (Though they do mean good at least)

Shoot Shoot shoot!! If there is another song that I have up that might be inappropriate, please tell me. I could get my teacher in trouble with the school if I play a song with a swear word in it. My club-mates might not care (They played, I think it's called "Baby got back" and it goes "I like big buts and I...." and where saying that he'll get in trouble but oh well, they're seniors or something like that . (Yah know, I'm one too but I still follow the rules. Sorry, a bit angry at that. It happened today and I really like my broadcasting club teacher. He's really nice and a cool teacher.)

Very true. It is catchy and like I posted in the ps on the post: "Blame it on the Girls might be a really good bet because during Open Studio (When our club meets after school to practice anchoring and working the equipment) I played it and I heard one girl sing one line after I was done!" Though at my school, no one really knows who MIKA even is, so all the songs would be relativity new (Though "Grace Kelly popped up on a commercial and at my sisters school carnival.) EDIT: Oops, I double posted! I don't know if this is bad here like it is on another forum site but sorry!

I thought about that too, but "Soldier Boy" is allowed to play at our school and apparently it was ok for someone to play a song about a threesome (Though they could of changed the song.). *Shrug* Yet we can't play "Barbie Girl". I figured that no one would really know. I had no idea until I saw the video and looked up the lyrics.

Final Note (10/23/09): I ended up playing "Relax". I'm definitely playing "Love today" Next month, and I'll fit in "Touches You" and maybe others latter in the year. Hello there, At my school we have our announcements on TV instead of the intercom (in the morning anyway) and since I'm a part of the team I can suggest songs on our monthly calender. I was going to play "Love Today" one day but I forgot that my ipod had a volume limit on it so it didn't pick up the song and thus the producer cut in with his MP3 player. I'm going to try again and I'm wondering if I should keep it "Love Today" or one of his other songs. So I have a poll of his songs that I like and think might get people listening to him and want to know what song you all think would best do that. I would play all of my favorites (Which would be a lot since I like so many of his songs) but I chose the most up-beat/get stuck in your head ones. The reason why Love Today was the original song was that's what got me looking for him. Note: I would of played/put "We are Golden" but since he uses the word "Damn" I'm not allowed to play it (The teacher in charge said it was to much of a risk). Oh, and I know how hard it is to pick only one song you like so I let you pick more than one but please limit it to two choices. The most major thing I did is when we had to do a band poster for Graphic communications I did Mika. I loved it because it was an actual concert date and everything. Here's the link if you want to see it. I'm going to hang it in my room when I get it back. even though it's only 8X16 (I think). My teacher (Funny enough the same class as above) asked for songs to put into our class "Station" on Pandora, and I recommended some of MIKA's songs into Pandora, but sadly now I regret it, just because I didn't know it would put all of his songs into the station, and I have to tell her to skip some songs and when "lolipop" came on (I thought it was good, and even though it's considered weird, I thought it would be Ok.) everyone begged to change the song, and my friend was saying, "Who would write songs like this?" and when the little girl is talking, she said, "And involve little children!" XP It was a disaster. (Yet I might add, why did they hate it so much and make those comments when it's ok and cool to listen to rappers sing degrading things about women and illegal things?) Though I'm still planning on playing one of Mika's songs over our announcements. (We do our news on TV, and have a music calender. That reminds me I still need to decide which Mika song to play...) Good thing I don't care and I'll still talk about Mika (Though I'm trying not to just because I did mention him too much and my friends are probably getting really sick of it.) and listen/play his songs no matter what. My school is full of oddballs anyway. (Though everyone thinks I'm the oddball I'm sure. I probably am but at least I'm unique) (Can you tell I'm getting sick of my school? XD)

I love the way he dances, so full of energy and it's interesting. My sister saw him do his cool pointy toe dance thing he did when he sang Rain on Jools Holland Later ( look at 2:30) she said, "He needs to learn some better dance moves and stop dancing that way." I was like "What?" because I really liked that move.
