    Oh well, I always encounter such problems having such big cameras Not that I don't have small point&shoot cameras as well but once you get the taste of DSLRs you know that if only you could take them to one gig you'd get amazing photos, so it's hard to leave the house without I really like the photos you took at B'estfest with this little thing though. It's worth arguing with the security guys, I'd say

    I thought I'd message you here just to avoid going off-topic on that thread, because I can talk about his clothes and setting and everything forever :roftl:

     

    And believe me, I never considered them not having hired a designer to do all these clothes because they are absolutely stunning and flawless. His suit as well as girls' dresses and accessories :mf_lustslow:. But indeed, I shouldn't have underestimated the Penniman's fashion-y creations. They can come up with incredible costume ideas and after a couple months re-invent themselves completely and create something just as amazing. Deffo one of the most talented families ever.

    Did anything happen to her? I noticed some said she wasn't in this show but I assumed it was because Mika didn't sing "Blame it on the Weather" so she could take a day off LATER EDIT, whaaat?!! she broke her arm?? Oh God :shocked:

    And I thought I was the only one that strangely associated this whole set with Mozart and especially Amadeus (the play and movie a little). Well, considering that I am a sucker for Mozart, you can tell why this setting is like a dream come true

    It's fiendish not to be able to get hold of photos like this, isn't it?? Poor Mary had her picture taken when he was a BG in Sudoeste, just as well as I had mine taken in Romania last year. Maria only managed to find our group photo and Mary's photo is still hanging somewhere. It was killer to wait for so many months for A GROUP PHOTO but at least I have it now, unlike Mary I strongly hope she'll get it though. Ahahaha poor Meeks he is like stuck in the middle having no idea about what happens in his backstage.

    Sounds amazing, everything I have read so far. Well, apart from the Sudoeste picture-related stuff However, it's good that you managed to talk to the man himself and figure out whether or not there's any chance you'll ever get the photo. I'm not sure he has much of an idea about that though, so perhaps that photo will be in your hands one day

    He tweeted a couple days ago. I am not sure what they are rehearsing for, but if it's for some upcoming gigs, I would love to go to see Jimm playing bass again. And James Morrison is a talented man, so I wouldn't mind at all

    Yes, spoiled is the word. A pretty big amount of fans tends to get over enthusiastic about M&Gs and with all that enthusiasm they pretty much forget about every single bit of respect they should pay to Mika and the other people attending the meet and greet. I've never had the opportunity to attend to a meet and greet yet, but I've been a LG and usually, everything is way more tempered in the backstage and people are way more calm when it comes to meeting Meeks. I'm going to stop blabbing now, I know it's not the right thread to do so

    I can't really tell either. He's getting married in September (I think) and as much as I know, he's now rehearsing with James Morrison so we can only hope to get him back on stage with our Meeks

    I know, right!! It feels so extremely overwhelming to hear random people who are not necessarily maniac fans like us and who randomly came at the festival maybe, to scream such things . I always giggle when I hear someone do that haha.

    Such a beautiful version! I really like that the audience is so silent and everyone seems to be taking a delight in the song. I think it's a song to be enjoyed in complete silence just because it's so sweet and tender. Also, the ending here is much more beautiful; I mean having Ida singing those "mmmmm" parts as well (I'm no good explaining things) later edit, Meeks sounds amazing singing with Ida, I enjoy their version of this song so much and I would love them to record it together but I am dying of curiosity to hear him singing this with Imma as well.

    I'm really glad to hear you had such a great time in France!! Also, thanks for the DM on Twitter, I've received it and I love the pictures . Also, did he introduce his duet with Ida as "The Weather"? Just because it's the first time I hear it being called this way. However, they are sooooo sweet together I can't take my eyes off.

    Well, the very first chords of "Viva la Vida" are kind of similar with those chord from "Karen" when the song picks up a little with those beats! (I'm pretty sure you've heard this song before though )

    Definitely agree with you! And I know what you mean with the ''expectable'' side of Meeks. He has thing way of bringing bits of everyday life and people's life into his songs in such an unique manner. And he's done this a couple times before already, thinking of "Good Gone Girl", "Holy Johnny", "Billy Brown" and other songs in which he basically discusses about those certain people's life with the help of music. Just like he said in one interview: tell them this and they will punch you; put it in a song and they'll listen to it and say you're talented
