  2. I don't have time to write a proper report except it was very good, a very intimate place and a good energy. I'm a bit disappointed he didn't sing Promiseland and I don't think he added another song to replace it. 2 of my videos : - Good Wife : - Underwater :
  3. Hey! I did the translation of Neon Magazine, I didn't have a lot of time so I guess I've made some mistakes, feel free to correct me What thing do you prefer about you? My adaptability. Iā€™m the result of the mix of many cultures, thanks to that I can be in many different situations without being awkward. Iā€™ve gained this chameleon side despite myself with moving. Instead of suffering from it, Iā€™ve made it an advantage. One of our journalists posed nude. Could you do it? If it isnā€™t porn, yes. Iā€™m quite modest and shy. When I go to a party, I donā€™t talk to anyone, except if Iā€™m dead drunk. I donā€™t go out often, but I drink a lot (laughs) Yet, when Iā€™ve the possibility to break away from this normal life, I do things Iā€™d never do usually : wearing extravagant clothes, dancing, undressingā€¦ Itā€™s not the person who makes awkwardness but the context/situation does. We interviewed the NoFap people. Those people forbid/refuse masturbation, itā€™s a real discipline of lifeā€¦ Ooh! Iā€™m not at all as disciplined as them! Iā€™ve never counted how long I can hold without masturbating but I wonā€™t be as good as them! Far from it! What do you think about the spying/intelligence bill which would allow the French State to get personal and private information? Iā€™m totally against it. Itā€™s a quiet war. We donā€™t realize how much those details, collected together, the all of it, can be extremely powerful. We can build a sociologic model, predict trends,ā€¦ What we shouldnā€™t do with a population! Everyone thinks his own little life doesnā€™t interest these services, that we are nothing on a global scale. But this droplet is a part of a huge wave. And this wave is very dangerous. We interviewed some prison guards. They told us their difficulties of their job in societyā€¦ Itā€™s very sad for them but Iā€™m not surprised. I think everyone becomes aware of the limits of the traditional prison system. Putting people in prison doesnā€™t protect us. It doesnā€™t heal neither. However, there are some effective systems: in Norway, they work on the prisoner psychology, they rather help them, accompanying them than the punishment itself. This shade of difference is probably felt by the prison guards and their way to live their job. Do you consider our generation is happier than the one's of our parents? Yes, itā€™s funny because itā€™s a thing I often say. We havenā€™t known an economic boom and we will never know one. We don't have many things we can take for granted. So, we have to fight for it. And we are proud of it. We arenā€™t an indifferent/blasĆ© generation, we are impressive/stunning. I do believe in this adage : less choices, more joy. During the economic crisis, I was in Royal College of Music, in UK. The next year, I was told the entries in art schools were multiplied by three. All these people who saw there was no longer opportunities in classic careers, in bank or others, decided to listen their artistic flair. Itā€™s surprising. How do you discover new artists? With all this mass of music on Internet I think only one thing can help you differentiate: the artist identity. Does his/her music stick to his personality? Does what he/she says in itw is coherent with the music he/she makes? I think the musical credibility doesnā€™t end at the notes, itā€™s a whole. And itā€™s a point of reference for listeners. Do you have websites to recommend? I used to listen Radio 1 but lately I like only half of the playlist. The other half is a bit too fashionable/trendy. Otherwise, I suggest you Pandora, I find it well designed. Except the ads which piss me off. Is your hypochondria getting worse now with Internet? Totally! I spend my life on WebMD. One day, I woke up with a dry nose. I had a bit of blood in my nostrils and a burning sensation. I searched ā€œI feel my nose burningā€ : I would die this instant because of a brain tumor. The next day, I harassed my doctor and forced him to make me do two brain scanners. Obviously, I had nothing I just took plane a lot in the last few daysā€¦ But, I could have one (a brain tumor) one day, I have to be careful!
  4. Hi Alba, yes I think your PM disappeared while MFC was hacked cause I haven't received anything.

I'm now a law student, but still living at my parents house near Toulouse. My mom is good, she's happy I've got news from you. She still works as a nurse and still a Mika fan despite the The Voice thing has a bit disappointed us... It's funny because many stranger fans say "oh french fans are so lucky to have him on TV every week" but I don't like seeing him that way. Well, all of this to say I'm super excited to see him back on stage :excite:

And you how are you? and your daughter?

I still don't know if I'm doing some festivals this summer, it's very tempting because I finish school in May so I will have lots of free time. However, it's a bit far & I'm a bit scared to be lost because I'd go all alone my sis and mom are not free on those dates. So I've mixed feelings...

    I hope we'll meet again :wink2:

Yes I've facebook do you want me to send you by PM my full name?

    :huglove:

  5. Bienvenue Claire! J'ai eu aussi la chance d'assister Ć  ce concert. Je suis contente que tu ais pu partagĆ© un bon moment avec ta famille pour cette premiĆØre expĆ©rience.
  6. Yes, I was, and indeed it was a private gig : my dad works at Airbus but I discovered I could attend only two days ago...
  7. These are my videos, it was such a great evening I breached a lot of rules to film it, so I rather let them not listed on youtube...
  8. This gig was fabulous No Overrated but Live Your Life, great audience with a Mika in a good mood. I was a bit scared that it'd be hard for him to keep the audience hot after Martin Solveig, but he did a really good job! Some of my pics :
  9. Oh okay...

At least you will see him in Salamanca!

I might go to Albi but that's not sure it depends of my exams...

  10. You are so lucky, can't wait to see the ad and hear the song! It seems so cool!

Oh I see, sad to hear that Marseille is canceled, do you know why ? :/

  11. Awww I just saw the thread about San Miguel, so happy for you Alba! ā™„

Which festivals are you planing to go this summer ?

    Lots of besos!

  12. Hello Alba!

I was not even aware of this show at Marseille, there are not a lot of informations about this. Do you have news about this event ? Otherwise I willl try to contact them! However I won't be able to go as I've exams during this period, but I might go to Garorock ;)

    Muchos besos Alba!

  13. So here's my report! Wednesday, I received a call from NRJ to tell me that I had won a meeting with Mika on the afternoon before the concert. I didn't have the chance to see his show at Toulouse in 2010, so it was my first hometown gig and I was sooo excited. I went to school from 8am to 1pm and I met Virginie (Melgine) and Leila (lyli21) in front of the Halle aux Grains. We chatted a bit then we went to the NRJ interview. They let us enter at 4pm, the presenter was ready to interview Mika at 5pm but Mika was late and arrived at 6pm. He came upstairs and started the interview. Then the security told me it was my turn for the meeting and I & my sis have to go upstairs. I took my bag and went upstairs shaking. He was here, drinking a juice and stared at me. I didn't know how to react as he gave a kiss to the first girl who went upstairs BUT SHOOK THE HAND of her friend. I came a lil closer to kiss him but he didn't understand then he saw that, he wanted to kiss but I had already moved back. He came again and as I dind't react he kissed my hat... yeah my hat . We talked a bit, well I shouldn't write 'we' my sis and him talked then all the winners came upstairs. He signed a lot of things whose my diary. I asked him when does the Underwater video will be out and he answered me at the begining of next week and my sis asked a few things a bit less important as "But Mika how much names has your dog ? " he answered with a big smile "Oh well a lot ! Melachi, Mel, La sorciĆØre, The Witch and Moo! Yes Moo!" or " What do you think of Toulouse ? Do you like it ? OOOOOH Where have you bought this coat ? I love it that's so class Mika! " Okay haha. He might have liked this questions because he asked to Ian (don't sure) we should do the interview, Virginie, my sis and I! I have my first pic with him now ! Show time : He started with Un Soleil Mal LunĆ© and did almost the same set list that Marseille. He talked a lot about what happens in Syria before singing Any Other World. The audience was not very enthusiastic, and stayed sitting down more than the 3/4 of the gig... Only a few fans stayed standing... Then at Stardust Mika asked us to sit down, and Virginie didn't sit at the right place so I was there front row at the center with no seat anymore the only one who was standing AWKWARD. Mika was waiting to start Stardust so I panicked and I sat down on my sister knees and asked Virginie to move. He stared at us and laughed when Virginie said "Oh ****!" . The choir was really brilliant The show ended with WAG. After show : He came out approximately at 00:40 and signed again some stuffs, he signed my headphones and we said goodbye before leaving.
  14. I've 2 tickets left for the show in Toulouse tomorrow ( 19th November). Please contact me if you are interested! I give them for free! EDIT : I gave them.
  15. I have recorded the whole show on my computer but I need to cut the Mika part. If nobody uploads it before, I will do tomorrow.

  20. If you arrive at the festival before the doors open I'm sure it will be ok :)

About meeting Mika at the end of the show I'm not really upbeat it's a park it won't be easy in my opinion... I have to go to bed, buenas noche Alba ! :huglove:

  21. You'll find me. I haven't changed a lot since last year. Still curly hair :mf_rosetinted::naughty:

Btw you have to teach me Spanish, I'm really bad at school and I've an exam next year :aah: !

  22. I arrive in Argeles tomorrow evening with my parents and my sis. I don't know when I'll go to the festival Saturday, I've sent a message to Maggie I'm waiting her answer. And you ?

  23. Some french fans want to wear a hat like this at the show but either I don't have any hat like this so don't worry you won't be the only one whithout hat! Then, we'll see at the festival for the banner for Paloma...
