    What i like with Soleil in French is that the lyrics have different levels: you can really have fun trying to interpret the song in different ways, and there are many "jeux de mots" (words games"? ). That's what makes it so special for me. I worked on Soleil with my students (I'm a teacher of French as a foreign language) and they had fun discovering the many differents meanings of a sentence (and in shock when I told them the singer was Mika )

    Christine, as I am a very very new Mika fan I'm a bit lost in all his songs: can you give me examples of what are real Mika style songs for you?

    Dreamy Queen, I agree with you about Soleil, this song is wonderful. He could do a new album with only such French songs i think only me and a few other crazy old fashioned French fans would buy it

    That's an interesting interview, thank you I'm surprised that he speaks so easily and quite long about the time when he was bullied. I saw the video interview on French "Taratata" and when he was asked about that he more or less tried to escape the question. He was maybe kind of shy at that time because of the video and public there? And I have no idea what is an old fashioned does it taste good?

    Great for the tickets give away, thank you! I read something that I don't understand on Mika's Facebook page: They say "where Mika plays only (with Melissa Laveaux, Jamie Cullum, Benjamin Biolay)" about the Bourges concert. What does that mean? Will he only play (the piano) and not sing? Or does that mean that there is no musicians with him? or something else? Really I'm lost, I'm sure the meaning is obvious, but please be my glasses!

    I know, I'm lucky to live in France :-) I'm still trying to understand how I could not really knowing him and his songs until now when living in one of the most "Mika fan country"!

    But i saw that he is having a gig in Spain this summer too, will you go?
