Longer for the UK, but at least we can enjoy SATS now, along with the other new songs we've heard. I just hope the extra week will be taken up with plenty of radio and TV appearances in the UK, to promote the album well, here in Britain, before it comes out.
I forgot about the UK release date, sorry
I hope so too. I want him at shows like the Graham Norton show.

MNM Marathonradio: Mika wil jou iets zeggen
"Mika wants to say something to you" - Thank you for posting!
Somehow it makes me feel better, to get through the last month and finish my bachelor's thesis
-
Oh they've taken the previews down! I've got a feeling bol.com made a bit of a mistake.
Uh oh!
That was not a smart move then. Luckily there's less than a week to go

Could this album get any better?
It just has!
What a beautiful song! The lyrics are just heavenly.
Doesn't he sing, "distant hearts?" I'm sure that's what I hear, and it makes sense.
I agree with distant hearts! And with everything else you say, basically
Lovely summer song, definitely brightened up my day.

Thank you so much
Mika seems a little tired here with dark eye circles and he tried not to yawn (when he was in the car I think) but still manages to look so cute xD So sad I don't understand French :'(
English subtitles are in the making

At last, you can hear 30-second samples of every song on the new album!

Thank you for telling us! I am losing my mind over All She Wants, so much that I haven't even listened to the rest yet! This album guys. This album.

Since we know a lot of the songs in full already, and snippets of others, I often forget that there are still songs that we don't know yet and I couldn't be more excited for the whole album!
I was wondering though, when he talks about Hurts and how we get a second version of the song in a few months, what do you guys think he means? How are we getting a new version? As a single, or..? -

I loved the show, that cover sounded so good! Delicious would be the word. Thanks Eriko for announcing the interview here!

I can only say that I'm in love with his cover of ''We'll be coming back'', his voice is veeery low in some parts and it gives me goosebumps every single time. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about, but in case you don't, here it is
Yes I love that cover too! I wouldn't mind if he would sing lower from now on, like the pre-choruses of Last Party, it's delicious.
I agree with what others have said, taking singing lessons myself, he should keep training his falsetto to keep it strong. It's like sporting on a high level, keep that muscle trained and under constant supervision.
But perhaps he's just sick and it hit his vocal chords. Whatever it is, it's good that he's resting now and I hope he will get well soon and be in better shape than ever.

What have I started? LOL Thanks guys for your help, I hope in the album version it'll be clear enough to understand without doubts.
You're not alone, we're all curious!
Maybe he'll even include the lyrics of this one in the booklet

It's time... I have to resurrect this beloved old thread with some of my newest Fantastic Photos -- they surely belong here in Bab's album. I hope she would approve.
You should have posted here earlier, I have totally missed this masterpiece of a thread. Now I can catch upSame here! Great pictures

I agree with the R, to me it sounds like "it's just what I was r..." and maybe even "r...l" or "r...l(e)d"
This is always so annoying It's like transcribing a video and getting stuck on one word that cannot be made up from the context.

"third album No Place In Heaven" - was The Origin Of Love that badly promoted?
Thanks for posting, Lucrezia! This is good news, good promotion

We should re-name ourselves, Mika's Good Wives Club.
I love this song, but please, not that name

I just watched the german performance... ok, not surprised now that we got 0 points. love the light animations of the winner song! Tho the song itself is not very special either. But i haven't heard the other entries, so...
I agree, they put up a great show with great vocals (that were perfect every time) but the song was a bit boring in my opinion...
Glad that Belgium was able to end up 4th
-
Sweden is my favourite! Australia is very good too! Very catchy
I'm starting to think that Australia is going to win this! My favourites are Israel and Belgium, and Australia
-
I'm watching!
-
Nina Nesbitt - Peroxide, so nice to find a new artist with great songs!
But I can't wait to see No Place In Heaven on my shelf...
-
I loved the staging for Sweden - really good special effects - but the song itself seemed ordinary
Israel's song was quite catchy
In the middle of power drama ballad after power drama ballad, I loved Israel's song!
And I loved Switzerland as well, too bad they're not through It's always a bonus point for me when the singer writes their own song.

I am starting to hope that it's true. Now that he's definitely doing X Factor Italy again, I would love it if he did the UK one as well. As said, it's great exposure for him as a person in the UK! Plus, I would be able to watch it I do follow The Voice and I like watching it (2 hours of Mika every week!), but I don't understand Italian..

It's funny, just a few days ago i read an article in a german business mag, about how to earn money in today's music industry. Basically it said that every musician who isn't either as big as madonna or an unsigned artist who has a small loyal fanbase and owns all the rights to their songs and does everything themselves, you can't earn a lot of money anymore. Unless you find other sources of income, and they mentioned especially the movies. They said it's a hard fight, as every musician wants their songs in a (successful) movie, so the movie bosses can make the rules and it's hard for musicians to get a good deal.
so i find it especially great to hear that mika managed to place one of his songs in a big hollywood movie - especially one that is about music!
I think he'll probably get royalties every time his song is played... which would be in many cinemas all around the world, multiple times a day, for several weeks or months. I'm not sure whether this will get him known (usually ppl don't care about who wrote a song, just who sings it...), but it surely is a success for him!
He's not only the writer of the song, he's also the singer of the original version. You're right that people don't care about who's the writer of the song, but with these kind of films they usually search for the original version. I think they will find him, especially when the comments on the Youtube video talk about Mika!

Thanks for links !
About the casting, I think it's for Good Guys. I don't know why...
Mika and Mr Lindbergh are so friendly, It is beautiful to see photos like that.
Good Guys is a single in Italy now, so I think a music video would be fitting! Maybe he'll release the single internationally as well?
Although I must admit, for the next international single I'd prefer Good Wife!

I really love this song , everything is so good in it: lyrics, melody, Mika's voice and this kind of vintage wibe like in Fun's songs. Do you think it could be a good single?
Definitely! A good, international Mika single. It would make people remember him, and how extraordinary he is as a singer-songwriter.

Thank you for posting! I think I like it, but I can't hear it very well
But it sounds fun! And the smile with which he sings it makes it impossible not to smile myself
