    I think it was intended to be purely French and only for the francophone market, but he said in an interview that he was receiving requests as well from non-French speaking countries. So he will include English songs as well, but with the gigs now he has 2-3 French songs and the rest English, I think it will be the other way around now and maybe even 2-3 more English songs in the Netherlands and Germany compared to the other countries. But this is just a guess!

    Mika has played at Huxleys before 14 years ago. Since it’s his first gig back in Germany since 12 (!) years, I can imagine the organizers were careful to choose a small venue, not knowing what the response will be. What happened in the Netherlands (Utrecht) back in 2020: it was a hall with a capacity of 2000 which sold out within a very short time frame. So he quickly added two more (!) dates and they sold out pretty well, too. I don’t think Huxleys was a mixup, but I do hope that the same thing will happen like it did in the NL and if we’re lucky, he will add another night. Or other cities in Germany in the future? One can only hope!

    It breaks my heart, but I won’t be able to go to Amsterdam we have a family holiday planned. It would’ve been a dream to see Mika in „my“ city… but I’m sure there will be a next time

    Wait I just looked, there are 3 Carre Or tickets there. I would keep checking back to see if some still become available.

    I was on the website 10.01am and there were no Carre Or tickets at all. I don’t think they sell out within 1 minute. Also when I looked later there weren’t any available either: sometimes a payment doesn’t go through and they become available again. The whole area seemed to have been gone.

    I have been looking into where the tickets are being sold, since it’s a different organizer. Tickets are not sold through Ticketmaster DE. The organizer is Trinity Music and it seems that they don’t start selling tickets until September 18th on this website: https://www.dodotickets.de/detail/index/sArticle/10905 I haven’t found any other seller for tickets, just this one.

    I also took a look (not that I am going, but I was curious!). They didn’t offer Carre Or at all, but the other three categories. It went fast! Such a good sign.

    You really have worded quite eloquently the way I feel about his music and his art in general. Thank you for this! Haha. Although I do think it’s hilarious that he does that, I actually think in real life that he doesn’t travel like this. I believe he even said in the documentary that it’s quite exceptional that he takes a private jet and a helicopter to a certain destination, it is definitely not on a regular basis. Also, when he is in public he is very invisible. He even said in recent interviews that he is proud of that: to be able to mingle in so much, that you won’t notice he’s there. So traveling in pyjamas is just too conspicuous!

    Ahh same as Colmar. And since the grounds haven’t opened yet to the Foire (but soon will), you don’t know how many entrances there are to the stage yet, either. Because it’s possible there are multiple there as well. Colmar there were two that opened the same time. Stressful!

    So I was scrolling through Twitter and there is a presale for Riffx (https://riffx.fr/) members that already starts Monday September 11th at 10am. Riffx partners with Ticketmaster and all French dates are mentioned on their website (https://riffx.fr/billetterie/) I think that you need both an account for Riffx and for Ticketmaster France to enter the presale, but I’m not sure if the presale is only for certain dates, or for all dates. I believe Accor Arenas (Paris) has announced that they will. If it’s all standing I don’t think it matters to enter the presale. I don’t think Mika will be sold out the first day. But since we don’t know which gigs are standing or seated I wanted to take a look anyway on Monday.

    I am not going to Chalons, but since I was in Paris for the recording of Quotidien, I spoke to people that are going today who seemed to know more about the venue. The Foire grounds open earlier and it will open all entrances (for the Foire) at the same time. This makes queuing quite useless, since there won’t be an organized system for all entrances. Once when you are inside, there will be another entrance for the stage which opens later, so you need to queue again is my understanding. It is apparently a similar system to Colmar with the Foire, but that one had less entrances = less confusion and stress.

    I am beyond excited he is coming the the Netherlands (last time in 2020) and then Germany (even longer ago!!)!! I do understand that it’s a special feeling when he comes to your country and it’s a disappointment if he doesn’t… but but but, I just want to be happy and spread happiness with Amsterdam and Berlin for now ❤️
