    Haha true! Poor Mika, I’m sure he is asked for pics all the time when people do realize he’s there. Well, he wouldn’t have to worry about that with me. If I would see him I freeze on the spot. Can barely formulate words let alone go up and talk to him….and would giggle or grin like a goon my fan brain takes over, or my brain just leaves me. Both have the same effect!

    You know what I think, I think we have all once stumbled upon Mika without noticing him AT ALL and he got a kick out of it I mean how could we not? Take for example Verona, he spoke to two elderly gentlemen and invited them to come to his concert. Verona isn’t that big! We were all out and about that day!!! That being said, that tweet was 4 days ago. He could’ve flown around the world thrice by now

    Haha! Imagine, he is just like us! I personally like the image of him hanging around music stores. I used to do that a lot. I didn’t have much friends, so I would go to a Music Store to check out the latest hits and decide for hours and hours which one to buy and spend my pocket money (and later the money from my weekend job) on. And he can be both poetic and very normal at the same time!

    Yes to everything!!! I loved this episode even more than the last one! It’s too bad it’s a one time thing really, I really love seeing and hearing Mika speak like an “annoying pain in the ***” And I do have to admit, it is extra enjoyable being able to understand him 100%, also with all the little things, like when he said “I remember buying CD’s of these hits!” Or him playbacking on TLC Yes Mika, I feel you, I’m an 80’s kid as well

    Really loved reading this interview, he is so candid and the interviewer really did their research well. This creates the open atmosphere we love to see and hear (or read - in this case) Mika in. The description of the interviewer is so spot on, I could imagine Mika smiling and speaking comfortably with them! His past with the media in the UK has been difficult, to say the least. I can completely understand his apprehension to why he declined interviews in the past. But I also think he was still very much in search of himself when he started his career. To be honest though: who isn’t in search of themselves in their twenties? Heck, you will always be to some extent. But the 20s is hard, especially in the spotlight! So for the media it was maybe hard to place him… but I think it was also hard to place himself and to be fully proud of it back then. In retrospect. But I feel he is coming full circle now. The confidence he has in this interview., not to mention him being his articulate self (he’s holding back in this interview, we all know from the French and Italian interviews there is so much depth once he engages in a subject) and being warm and witty… he is reconciling with UK media, also because he seems to have let go of to the limitations his mind/fear had set him. It’s wonderful to see, to read!

    Yes, it was adorable! I was watching the video and noticed him remembering something. When my kids do this they excitedly jump up and down and can't wait to tell me. I could actually tell he was refraining from doing so but he couldn't wait to tell the story, either!

    My friend and I had this cinema subscription where you would pay 20 euros a month, but could watch as many movies (not the 3D ones, that had a surplus of a few euros per movie) as we wanted. So yes, I actually did watch 4 movies in a row once legally, because I am too much of a goody two shoes and also way too scared to get caught like yourself

    Well @Hero, it seems it’s seated… in the grass! Ahh! Okay, I didn’t know that. That seems to be another stage (not by the lake, if I see correctly?). I know Birgit called the organization and they said it’s standing. She called because of a wheelchair place - and they will make it possible for her. Which is amazing! She had a different experience with the organization (not) responding to her request for weeks/months for the gig in Milan.
