I absolutely love this idea, Karin!! I don't think it's confusing. Sounds like we'd have balloons to represent the world, peace and love. That's quite a clear image isn't it?! The only downside I see is that the earth balloons are so expensive, otherwise it would be cool to have loads of them.

Well you have all listed about 10 good reasons and I think all of them would make sense, so I don't think we'll find a definite answer. I think it could mean some changes in how he uses social media but it doesn't have to. I doubt he uses it to interact with anyone anyway. We know he doesn't use it to interact with fans and I highly doubt he uses his public account for private conversations with friends.

I like the idea so I made one because I have time at the moment so I can try and catch up on all the gigs that have already taken place But I thought it might be best to do each gig as a separate post, that way anybody can update it after a concert. Absolutely love this idea, but that's a loot of work and only the people who made the post with the setlist and the mods can add them right?! So I guess we can try and we'll see how well we manage. But I mean that way it wouldn't just be setlists but a complete summary / collection of the tour!

Yes, I mean I'm absolutely with you there I think he's just trying to explain that even though it's a mean song, it's also a love song. A realistic love song because real love isn't without obstacles. And that the way he's been taught to communicate about problems is by being intense and loud but it doesn't mean he respects or loves the person any less. I'd assume he allows the other person to respond in the same way and leaves out quite a few details as you said from the other side of the argument. After all the song is from his perspective and about his insecurities.

It's more or less the same to what he's said before, that his family is very expressive and when he had friends over they always thought they were fighting. And that might explain why he feels that if you want to write a real love song you have to write a very mean song. "If you write an extremely romantic song it's either because you've lost love. Or because you're searching for love you don't have. Which means imaginary love is always something more pure for me in songs. So how do you express love if you know there's a problem but you really want it to last and you don't want it to end. Well, you write a mean love song".

I was gonna suggest that! Dance enthusiastically, move your lips and brabble some gibberish. Just be careful that Mika doesn't drag you on stage! But so far the key phrases he expects us to sing seem to be "Underwater", "C'est la vie c'est la vie la vie dam dam", "Moi, Andy et Paris" and "la la la la la la la laaa" so I think we can do it. But seriously whyy is it so much harder than learning English lyrics?! No matter how many times I listen to the songs, they just don't want to stick

Hi just wanted to further explain something we were just talking about on the Insta live. The reaction videos thing. I was just repeating what the other person was saying, it doesn't necessarily reflect my own opinion. I mean of course it can't hurt if we as fans comment on Mika related content on all corners of the internet, but the way most of these semi professional reactors who have a big audience work is that they have Patreon accounts where you have to pay to request videos. (Yes I know, I'm also old enough to find this crazy). So in most cases commenting on the videos doesn't actually achieve much I'd say. Anyway, I didn't come here to be negative, my main reason was to point out that regardless of their usefulness in promoting Mika's music, I think they're really fun It's nice seeing people enjoy something you love or discuss the lyrics with a completely fresh take. Bit like reading the song discussions on here but in video format. For example look at this dude seeing Mika perform Love Today for the first time and having the time of his life!!

I think that's a good idea! I think it normally gets posted somewhere when one of his shows is on tv but I couldn't even tell you where so it would probably good to have a specific thread for it. I haven't heard anything about a professional recording of the AC tour (yet!). I don't think it's unlikely though

You can try and keep an eye on the Extra Ticket Thread where people post if they have spare tickets for a show. At the moment it looks like more people are looking for tickets than giving away for the UK and Dublin dates but fingers crossed.
