Thanks. It’s a lot to lose! I had no idea when I first fell in the spell of Mika how much of the energy around him was generated from his concerts. I had never seen anything like that with any other artist!

Hey, CJ…. It’s about how frustrating my life is physically and how I feel like a Rhoomba (sp? The vacuum cleaner that hits the wall and then backs up and turns around and then….hits another wall…). Everything I need or want to do bounces against something. The best and most relevant example I can think of for this conversation is….my back issues relate to both pain and mobility, as they include my cervical (neck) and lumbar spine from whence cometh sciatic nerves (all of them) and hips, so legs. Which effects not just walking but standing and even sitting in the wrong position. What that means is I will never ever ever be able to see Mika live. It’s more complicated but that’s the bottom line. The day I realized how important his live performances were in so many ways, and that I could never be a part of any of that, it made me sad to the bottom of my heart. Always will.

First, you have a husband who sounds ready for a Mikajar! Second, in our family we figured out that having a pet named for Mika would be very confusing. Or um weird. I mean think about it. “Mika needs to learn how to heal.” “Mika is good on a leash.” “Mika loves riding in the car with his head out the window”……and so many more. tee.

Just popping in to say that sunny and dumb describes a lot of my friends from high school. Dyed blond hair and mental development to match. Imagine batting lashes and chewing gum at the same time. As for the lonely line, that actually resembles a twist on a similar phrase—about how being alone doesn’t mean that one is necessarily lonely (but it CAN mean that). But the way it’s written, while poetic, in a very poignant song, and fits well rhythmically, does not, to me, work in practice.

Oh, I know. So maybe the next time he is near New York City someone might consider looking into this woman’s creations.🤷🏽‍♂️

I just saw a segment on a TV show about lgbtetc food creators…The woman is a baker whose company is called Cakes for No Occasion. She loves chaos and color and breaking rules. I so wish there would be a way to get one of her cakes to Mika. I am sure they cannot leave NYC except by human carrier. She has a website and is on instagram with her company name. Here, look at this. Doesn’t it scream Mika???!?? (This image is ot as clear a representation as the tv segment but there are lots of others on the sites)
