But I've always wondered where the assumption that being an official fan club means anything in terms of getting up to date info comes from. He's on his MySpace every day and doesn't tell anyone what's going on. We are forgettin one thing here , we do not want to become Mikasounds , we want to have this forum AND more !!!! , neither forum is perfect .. this site is better ...... we want this as the basis AND more ..... thatw the only way we will go over Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some PR responsible should be doing that, and for the moment, is only accepting friends requests Not even deleting cancelled gigs As for reading the messages, i don't know if someone actually reads them and if yes, who reads them Happily enough, passed gigs are automatically deleted... Not at all... And so what you want is a dream. Being official means automatically being watched by the officials = Universal, PR responsibles, etc. And not automatically more infos, not at all... Being official means automatically being watched by the officials = Universal, PR responsibles, etc. And not automatically more infos, not at all... The only thing we would get out of this "officialisation" (if such a word exists) is the money, and i hope we can find it somewhere else. And yes, funding to keep the site operational. But if the forum becomes censored and controlled by Universal, the real Mika conversation will start to migrate elsewhere. Fans are only going to get up to date official info if and when Mika's camp gets it together and starts updating people. They've already got the mailing list in place and never use it. I've never received anything from Mikasounds. I don't expect MFC members would receive anything either. I hope in 2008 they take a break, take stock and get it together. Because you got 300 names ! Even if our opinions would have been taken in consideration, you would still have sent the petition, so it's all good ! I just didn't bother at that time, cause i'm sure they won't accept... But i may be wrong... And then i will "regret" i did not give my opinion earlier, but sometimes, i find it exhausting "fighting" (in a nice way) against 300 people :naughty: I talked about it today cause the subject came up somewhere else, and i don't know... I replied, and it led there... But i said all i had to say too, and i'm kinda out... Except something new comes up... I agree with your comments , as I said Mikasounds in itself doesnt give enough enough information , for a number of reasons this forum has the potential to be the forum. I really honestly have no doubt about that !!!! It's true, i should have... But i didn't for the reasons i said. And even if you had taken my opinion on board, it wouldn't have changed anything in the decision, would it ? I think no, so it's too bad, yes, but it's ok cause it has no consequences... And i'm sometimes tired to be seen as the "negative" person of the forum (or even one of them) everytime i give my opinion or don't agree, and so that's why i let you go with your petition... It doesn't change anything for me, and it doesn't change anything for you either !!
