Okay... I recorded some stuff off a video to share with everyone... Sorry about the dodgy quality...

This is the Canobolas Highland Pipe Band (my band!), at the Orange Tartan Ball in 2001:

This is Highland Cathedral:

I'm one of the tenors on the left of screen...

And Scotland the Brave:

I'm second tenor in line as we march off...

This is great - what was the occasion?? I love Itchy Fingers, that was always one of my favourites along with The Children. (husband is a piper!)

The Scottish Association has a ball every year... lots of kilts and dancing!

Don't think I've ever heard The Children...

And we haven't done Itchy Fingers in about 4 years... Same with Highland Cathedral... I like it...

Swiss drumline at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. These guys are sick. :punk:

I haven't been able to watch it cause I have to go to work soon...

RBSKY... Thank you!

I love these guys.. they're amazing...

These guys are brilliant!!

The Grade 1 band here played a drum fanfare at Glasgow

last year - it was fantastic!!!

What some folk can do with sticks!!

I know... I wish I could play even half as well as them... I have the utmost admiration for people who play drums in pipe bands... don't think they get half the praise they deserve (yes, biased tenor drummer right here)!

Oh, I plan on convincing the band that we need a myspace page and website at practice tonight... Do you think I'll have much luck convincing the cranky old men?

Go for it - a myspace page may be what they need for their

forgotten youth!!!

One daughter is side drummer, the other is a tenor drummer - and

you are right - they dont get enough recognition!!!! :thumb_yello:

The sash is something WAY WAY WAY different and shouldn't be mentioned in Glasgow under ANY circumstances!! :naughty:

True GITB - you will need to keep "Braveheart" on the right

track - we don't want him getting beaten up!!!! :roftl: :roftl:

I went to see Fish, my old Scottish love - two gigs in a row... That is why I wasn't online for two days. :wub2:

He was wearing green tartan trousers and I melted away every time he spoke with this Scottish accent. :blush-anim-cl:

(Not a video from one of the gigs in Holland, this one was in Cardiff last month but he was wearing exactly the same trousers there and we were exactly in the same spot yesterday and the day before - front row on the right.)
