I do feel bad for the very young fans who don't live in a big city and are forced to rely on their parents for permission and funds to get to a show. But for everyone over the age of 16-18 living in N. America or western Europe it's a matter of priority. If you're not willing to do whatever it takes to see a show, you can't blame the people who do and dismiss all their efforts as good luck and being spoiled. exactly. It's kinda sad if it's come to that. If you care that much about it you come up with a plan B, which we've both done. In your case it ended up being cheaper, in my case it ended up being a lot more expensive. That's life. It's not anyone's fault. I'm also not implying that people *should* waste a lot of money on Mika shows. There's nothing wrong with having other priorities in your life. But I'm hearing a lot of bitterness in this thread and if people really wanted to see Mika that badly they should have made it happen. There's no point in taking it out on other fans. She wasn’t trying to step on toes, or rub it in anyones face, she was just plainly saying that she missed seeing him, and that’s all. People say it all the time, its understandable to miss seeing his gigs, most people that have been lucky enough to see him will fully agree. Presumably they're all bummed that they won't get a chance to see him until next year. I don't see what difference it makes whether a fan has seen him before or not.
