Plus the absurdity of some of his thoughts make me laugh "Spam rhymes with ham...I have a nice new hat!" , and if someone is mean to him in the public spotlight, he just doesn't reply. This method actually works, because he either blazes straight past it without a second thought or twiddles his thumbs and looks down. The twiddling thumb method works, because us fans see him, think "Awww, that's horrible :(" and immediately chastize whoever said those things.
