Ermmmmmmmmm.....I wasn't sure, that's why I asked! :boxed:

What is it officially?

Vix x

hmm i dont think it has any one official title!

here in Ireland we all just call it Irish (or Gaeilge which is "irish" in irish :naughty: )

but then there are a few types of Gaelic, like Scots Gaelic too, so we don't really call it Gaelic on its own!

:)

This is something that I sometimes forget as well. :wink2: Chicken is not 'kana' but 'tipu'!

a hen = kana

a cock = kukko

a chicken = tipu

chicken as food = broileri

:naughty:

Actually you're wrong! :naughty: It goes like this:

Hen = Kanaemo (mother chicken)

Chick = Tipu (baby chicken)

Broiler = Broileri (chicken which is raised for meat production)

So, chicken really means kana in Finnish! :thumb_yello: And you can eat all of those because also broiler is a chicken. :biggrin2:

:blink: You're right! But but... Adult chickens are not yellow! So Mika in a yellow dress must be a chick and not a chicken. Or can a baby chicken be called a chicken as well? I'm so confused! :hypo: This requires further investigations. I will call my treatise: "What's the essence of chicken?" :glasses3::lmao:

It seems that Martin is the chicken now. But I refuse to see him as a chicken. I see him as Big Bird, the big yellow bird from Sesame Street. :naughty:
