The song's fun, swingy and his voice would suit it. But would Mika sing a song with the lines "I wanna defy the logic of all Sexx Laws" and "I'm a full-grown man but I'm not afraid to cry"? While it's actually a very true description of him and he may not mean it politically but other people would take it to be. Has anyone built a shrine to Beck in the MFC yet? If not, I will. The man is an absolutly insane genius, not to mention that Mika is a massive fan of his. You're correct, I named Carolina Dancing after the hooker in Love Today.
