Well a shovel is like a spade, but ask any child who is going to the seaside, they don't take a bucket and shovel, they take a bucket and spade.

Go on, ask them. :naughty:

not if they are canadian kids.... :naughty:

they take a pail & a shovel :roftl:

haha those elbows and legs are really really strange

here children go to beach with 'palita' and 'balde'

I dunno how do you call that in english

but I read it's :

shovel >> when it's concave

spade>> when it's plane, like the house fireplace one

It's OK, they're not Canadian, they're British. :naughty:

how can you tell????? :naughty:

to be more precise... if they are from québec,

they have une chaudière and une pelle

no matter what country or language they speak...

they always seem to be doing the same thing with them

on the beach! must be international child language :naughty:

But in the "madre patria" we don't call it balde, we call it cubo!!:roftl: :roftl:

So you go to the beach with "un cubo y una pala", or if it's very small, a palita.....
