Is it weird that even though I'm not going to any, it'll be nice to know that he's performing for other MFCers? I'll let you girls have the honour of changing in front of him and his camera, though. Imagine THAT ending up on the next DVD. A special bonus: "Lollipop Girls Gone Wild!" Here's me in full on Lollipop mode No it's not weird... I'm looking forward to the gig reports, miss them ! And about that Lollipop Girls gone wild comment : LOLLLLL And you look adorable ! Great picture !!! I edited my original post with a short explanation saying how we were all selected... Great ! From what I gather, the most logical reason behind not posting those pics online would be because Yasmine and co don't want their dresses being recreated, etc... She said we were welcome to take pictures, but that she didn't want pictures surfacing online. She said to just keep those pictures of all the LGs and the Big Girl for personal uses. Maybe it has something to do with the venue...?I talked to Yasmine for a bit and she didn't mention anything about pictures, neither did Nadja. There are enough close pics from people in the audience at concerts that if somebody wanted to replicate the dress, they could. so i dunno? Do whatever you're comfortable with. Since we can't be sure why Mandilambi was asked not to post the pics, we have no idea if that request applies to all shows, all girls, all venues - etc. We've come to a bit of a conclusion as a mod team that it's best to run MFC based on what's best for the fans - not based on what we think Mika (and his people) might want. Obviously we shouldn't post pics that we were specifically asked not to, or go trawling Flickr for pics of girls we don't know in these costumes - but until someone tells us otherwise, there's no reason not to post your own pics taken backstage. Mandi - just out of curiousity, was Yasmine in any of these pics? Because I know in the past she's asked that photos of her not be posted. The only time Yasmine asked us not to post pictures, was when people took picture in Mika and the band's dressing room, where you could see them room, her , and her mom... That was in Montréal. In Toronto and New York we were taking pics the whole time and she didn't say a word about it... but this time we didn't get to go in Mika and the band's room.... So I'm guessing the ones I posted are ok... hahahahahahah-yeah right. hehe, no we don't, but the Big Girls do! Some of my friends asked me if I got paid for it and they were shocked when I told them I wasn't... I was like : what ??? you kidding me ??? I would actually pay for it !!! Another question: what do you do with your concert ticket? can you give it to someone else? or do you still have to keep it to get into the venue? do you even need one if you are a LG? In Montréal they didn't ask me for it... and at the other shows I was never sure if needed one... I was always afraid that this one time they would ask for it... so I kept them all... But I'm glad to have them cause I collect tix from all the shows I go to... Here is one of the pictures that I submitted. I sent in two more along with this one. Looking good lady !! the day i was Lolli... i waited ALL day from like 11am in line... we were first in line.... than i used my ticket to go in... (i had no idea i was gonna be one) and were were FRONT row CENTER! ...we stood there waiting for the show to start and than somone called me SIVAN!!! SIVAN!!!! i was looking like and she grabbed me and took me away! and than i find myself in the dressing room with mikas mom and Yasmin i wasnt sure what is going on ... than his mom said "u wanted to be lollipop right?!" and i said YES! OFCOURSE! and she said "OK!" and i was SHOCKED! lol i cant even explain how lucky i was! I soooo remember when I learned that you got to be a Lollipop Girl on stage I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo incredibly excited and happy for you !!!!!! You have to have a parent/(my sister alone would have worked, but she's much older) at the venue, but it was my choice whether or not i wanted them back stage. I knew they both wanted to come, and i know my sister would never have forgiven me if i didn't have them come with me lol. But they were only aloud there before the show, all the time after they couldn't be there.
