I'm also a bit shy :boxed:

Do I attract you?

Do I repulse you with my queasy smile?

Am I too dirty, am I too flirty?

Do I like what you like?

I can be wholesome, I can be loathsome

Guess I'm a little bit shy...

Why don't you like me, why don't you like me without making me try?

haha sorry. could not resist.

Mikey Choi, the bassist in Mika's band. He logged on here, threatening people and then claimed to be a single working mother of two.

Wait a minute, it really WAS him?

Oh, oui, I am quite sure of that myself :wink2:.

Hope he found a babysitter for the next couple of nights

wonder if he had a bit of the influence?

On Luke having to leave the band? Maybe. :mf_rosetinted:

Maybe not.

Or are you talking about substances?

Ok, you people are seriously cracking me up, I mean it!!

I was laughing and laughing and ...laughing!!!

Maybe babyee...Well, we wouldn't know though, as we are only fans...:thumb_yello: But us not knowing doesn'tmake the possibility less likely or true, if it *happens to be* true. Which we wouldn't know of course.:bleh:

considering he told Sara and Rose about it weeks ago, they hardly did it without his knowledge  maybe the PR part of Mika did it and the rest of him forgot about it

Yep, that is what annoys me, that he had the plan in may already (if not early) so they had time to organise things better...Disappointing.

Kata I love your new signature!!

I think Mika said to Rose and Sara the other week that it would be just his luck that someone in Fiji would win the concert tickets/flights.

But I think at this very moment, he is not concerned about the winners...he probably is more worried whether the keyboard player has all the chords and programming right.

And whether troll rehearsed enough in between childcare etc

See, now we have all the tickets located

OhhLookie + children 3 tickets, Mrs. Penniman 1 ticket, the sisters 3 tickets, keyboarder 1 ticket = 8 tickets

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

:roftl:

a single mum of two who is also able to take pics from backsatge

Exactly.

But of course, maybe many don't like to think along those lines. Avoid reality is more cushy...

She either is someone of the crew, or hacked someone's myspace:blink:

I vote for number 1 myself...That pic was never on myspace, lol!!

perhaps the new keyboarder is the competition winner :mf_rosetinted:

Ooh...hadn't thought of that!

perhaps OhhlLookie won!!!

which would be graet because she/he is an mfc'er at least:naughty:

That thought had crossed my mind...

Kata's phone starts to ring...

Ring, ring...is that you on the phone? You think you're clever but you're never saying nothing at all...

Kata: ZOMG THAT COULD BE MIKA! *does backflips and somersaults and jumps around living room in excitement...then remembers to find her phone* CRAP! WHERE IS IT?!

Hey, hey...the way you spin me around...

Kata: Ha! *answers phone* OMG I TOTALLY THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A WINNER OMG OMG OMG AM SO EXCITED OMG OMG OMG!!!!

Luke: Kata? ...I wanted to talk to you about Pineapples...

Kata: Get off the phone! You're not part of Mika's camp anymore! Don't ring me! I need my phone to be free so Mika can ring me and tell me I've won! Get lost!

Luke: But I love you -

Kata: SHOVE IT! MIKA IS THE ONE FOR ME! HE IS PERFECT AND I WILL MARRY HIM WHEN I GROW UP..........MORE! *clicks Luke off the line*

*waits for Mika to ring*

Kata: *starts rocking backwards and forwards in her chair*

The phone starts to ring again...

Ring, ring...is that you on the phone?

Kata: OMG MIKA THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME A WINNER OMG I LOVE YOU!

Babs: Kata, what? I'm just phoning to see if you're okay. You're not on the MFC.

Kata: Am worried sick. Rocking on my chair. Eaten tons of apples out of anxiety. Didn't go down too well.

Babs: Thanks for the info. Well, in any case -

Kata: GET OFF THE PHONE BABS I HAVE A CALL COMING THROUGH!

Babs: But -

Kata: *clicks babs off phone* IS THAT MIKA ON THE PHONE?!?!

Mika: Yes, yes it is! Is this Kata?

Kata: YES IT IS OMG OMG OMG!

Mika: Congratulations, you have won my competition!

Kata: I LOVE YOOOOOOOUU!!!

Mika: .................erm, thanks. Well, anyway, there's a catch to being a winner.

Kata: Do I have to have chicken with you? I'LL DO IT!

Mika: Um...no, my mother wouldn't allow that. You have to be my new keyboarder.

Kata: That's fine, I can play keyboard!

Mika: You...you...you can? Dang it!

Kata: Excuse me?

Mika: I mean...play it!

Kata: ...I can't do it now, I'm er....I'm not in "the zone"...

Mika: I understand. Turn up to *insert address here* at 10am. See ya tomorrow!

Kata: Cool. Bye Mr. Lover Lover!

*click*

Kata: Right...yellow pages here I come! I need to learn some keyboarding moves and PRONTO!!! ....Wait a minute...

*Kata enters digits on her phone*

Luke: Kata, I knew you'd return to me!

Kata: Blah blah blah! Teach me how to play keyboard!

Luke: You serious?!

Kata: VERY! TEACH ME OR I SHALL THROW A PINEAPPLE THROUGH YOUR WINDOW!

Luke: Okay okay! Your place or mine?

Kata: do you HAVE to make it sound like you're coming on to me?

Luke: Was just a general question, you idiot.

Kata: ...Come round to mine.

Luke: cool. see ya soon!

*in super speedy time, luke is at Kata's teaching her keyboard*

Luke: Well done, Kata. You have just learnt the chopsticks.

Kata:

Really? I guess you are. :naughty: I really love "Grace Kelly," but after that, not so much. "Big Girls" was definitely an opportunity wasted, imo. And "Happy Ending" was almost brilliant, but then it really floundered in the end for me--the special effects really could have used more work (not to look "flashier" but to look smoother), and I felt the storyboard needed something more than "and then he floats around aimlessly for awhile," especially to tie in with the lyrics better.

But anyway, just as an example, some videos I think are quite good:

Garbage: Androgyny

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UGrAU-FnarM

Bowie: Underground

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=M-2vLTSUpC0

Shania Twain: That Don't Impress Me Much

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mt7W6a_gQSM

(It's totally simple but makes me smile)

And here's a video that was done pretty much the same way as "Big Girls"--ie, all fan extras, done in one day, etc. But I think with rather more success:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Awnjw36mNEs

It's a spoof of a David Lee Roth's "California Girls" btw.

Oh, and I quite like GCH's "Girlfriend" video (the one with Katy Perry) too.

I know everyone's way off of this topic now, but I just realized that the Jonas Brothers' video for "Burnin' Up" is a wonderful, wonderful example of a well-executed music video. It has the perfect balance of performance footage, humor, and little storylines that add interest.

Regardless of whether people here like them/this song or not, there's no denying that this is a good video, in my opinion. :naughty::biggrin2:

Oh and then another good video is The White Stripes' "The Hardest Button to Button."

...because wow. That would be insane to make.

Also, their "Icky Thump" video is unique. And whaddaya know, it was directed by The Malloys, the same brothers who directed that Jonas Brothers video.

Crazy what random connections there are that I'm sure people wouldn't expect. Like Greg Wells working extensively not only on Mika's album, but on Hannah Montana's and The Jonas Brothers' as well. :naughty:
