The Italian edition of Breaking Dawn was translated by five people. I guess they needed to support one another because they didn't know English. Anyway, the Italian translation is shorter: about 65 pages (I know because a student of mine was reading it). It should have been the other way round...the English books are normally more concise. It's short for Lyonesse) can penatrate mind powers/shields? As in, Bella can see her images even WITH her mind shield so Edward can hear her (Nessie) thought's while she's in Bella's tummy. Anyway, I finally started Breaking Dawn, finished the first book I recall that the other volumes didn't provide a lot of plot. But compared to that first book of BD it was plenty. Plus I really had to laugh out loud thinking about those rumours that it couldn't be brought to the screen or how it had to be rated R or NC-17 or something because of all the sexual intercourse happening there. What? They won't show on the screen what is not mentioned in the book, will they? I bet they had no problem picturing Victoria being ripped into pieces in great detail for the Eclipse movie. But showing... what actually? Robward standing in the water up to his hips with no shirt on? That's a scandal, I agree.
