Well, it really tastes very much like calamari, and the texture is the same, so if you like calamari, you'll probably like octopus.

from-

Opened in 1958, located in the Shaw neighborhood,

Ben's Chili Bowl was frequented by

the likes of Miles Davis and Duke Ellington in 1950s segregated Washington.

As Shaw's neighborhood fortunes sagged through the 70s and 80s

Ben's hung on and now that Shaw is a hopping place to be

it is not uncommon to see a late night line out the door for the

"messiest, sloppiest and goodinest chili covered half smokes" in town.

National Nutty Fudge Day.

The diet will have to just wait!

#TodayNFood

Yes, with this simple microwaveable fudge recipe you still have time to

celebrate National Nutty Fudge Day:

Ingredients

3 cups milk chocolate chips

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1/4 cup butter

1 cup chopped walnuts or other favorite nuts (optional)

1/8 tsp salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Place milk chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, salt + vanilla extract

in large microwaveable bowl.

Microwave on medium until chips are melted, about 2-5 minutes,

stirring once or twice during melting. Stir in nuts, if desired.

Pour into 8x8-inch pan that you have lined with foil and coated with cooking spray.

Refrigerate until set.

Cut into squares and enjoy!
