never before heard song

Recommended Posts

I saw that interview a few years ago but today I found it again.

And from 4:41 to 6:34 there's a strange music in the background. I never heard that song before:shocked:

Does anyone knows what it might be?

Maybe "angry"? Any ideas?

Here's the vid:

Some MFCers asked him about it and apparently the TV crew was not supposed to tape and broadcast this song he was doing in rehearsals. We can't find any evidence of the song anywhere and since Mika was unhappy about it leaking I assume it's one of his songs.

:shocked:Oh.my.god! (Janice from Friends style)

I've watched that video again after ages, and I clearly hear when he sings "he don't love you anymore so pick up of the floor"

Isn't that the name of one of the songs in the new cd?:teehee:

Oh well spotted! I'm surprised no one noticed when the article came out.

Think it's "off the floor".

I'm surprised he used something this old on the album. I guess he really did have some of them written when he said he did. :teehee:

....Some of us think 'I See You' will also be an 'old' song:wink2:

What song is this?

I think in one of the articles about the EP he is says that it is about someone he had a crush on when he was a child but never dared to tell that person....

.....so I picture the scene like he is sitting and staring at someone, watching every move of this person but they don't notice him at all.... :wink2:

(:biggrin2:)

...but perhaps my imagination went too wild in terms of connecting this with that title..

I think I mentioned it when the article came out -- if I didn't say it here,

I said it to someone... or at least I *thought* it! Honest! :naughty:

But yeah, I think chances are good it's that song. At least I really hope it is!:thumb_yello:

Jeez I never pay any attention to Mika's lyrics.

unless they are badly written :naughty:

Oh God.

*remembers discussing this song as if it were yesterday*:naughty:

So this might be one that will be on the album. Great, it sounds so..not Mika:naughty:But really great.

I think it sounds more Mika than some other Mika songs (like Erase, for example)

Hmm yeah, it does. Erase it just pure cheese. I do like it though haha.

It's a good song but a typical one off the conveyor belt.

Perhaps someone at record company had this idea they ask Desmond Child sit down with Mika for fear the boy's own songs won't be good enough to sell his record.... and in the end it turns out they can't sell Desmond Child songs to Mika fans :biggrin2:

I always loved that interview purely because of that snippet of that song. :wub2:

Is it just me or was that song in the background of the dvd as well? I thought that there was one part in the first dvd with the same song in the background. When Mika is sitting at the piano...Oh I remember didn't he sing a bit of the lyrics to it at the piano! It sounds to me like the same song.

It sounds like put your heart back and your back in and pick your love up off the floor?!

Or something. :naughty:

''....

..what I thought she was going to do/through

....she falls in love and throws it all away.

Put your heart back in your pocket,

pick your love up off the floor,

when your mother says she.....do it anymore

If he's not the.....

the boy's gotta do what he's gotta do,

says he don't love you anymore, so pick up off the floor.

Oh, coming hard (?)

still in love and...''

Or something like that.

That's all I can figure out.*shrugs*
