Although I'm not sure whether you should have done something in advance to assure you could recover your files. (I'm not that good with computers, but I believe I did have to try this once. And as far as I can remember it worked. I just hope that you can restore it to a time when you had the files, otherwise they're gone forever... I can't remember how to do it though, so I'm not of any help...
