chicabionica
Hi everyone!! Mika is coming to Argentina the 19 of November and I'd like to know if you know when is he arriving here so we can meet him at the airport. I'm asking you because maybe you have a contact or something of the sort with the manager so you can help us. I'd be grateful if you knew that Kisses! By the way, sorry about the English hehe
Christine
Hi chicabionica. Sorry but this isn't information we'd expect his management to give out to fans. If Mika wants a welcoming party he may tweet like he's sometimes done in the past.

chicabionica
My guess is that the Argentine fans just want Mika to feel welcome. Exactly, that's why. And I think is the only way we have to meet Mika because after the show in Argentina he has to go to Brazil and I think we wouldn't have time to meet him after the show. Thanks anyway! I just want to say hello and tell him that I love his music, I'm not going to follow him or run after him or anything like that lol

And I think is the only way we have to meet Mika because after the show in Argentina he has to go to Brazil and I think we wouldn't have time to meet him after the show. Well he often has gigs in different countries on different days and is still able to say hi afterwards so I hope you get a chance to see him at some point. Clearly not I think you should check the flights from Chile to Buenos Aires Or, even better: Take the same flight. Then you have lots of hours to chat to him on the plane

Mary
My guess is that the Argentine fans just want Mika to feel welcome. Of course it's that the case. I don't know why people find it so strange. Going to an airport to welcome someone it's totally normal. People do that for artists, football teams, other athletes...you name it! And if that is being a stalker, what do we call people who go to the artists house, or send stuff there, or go to his hotel to try to meet him/her,...? Just sayin'... As for the argentinean fans, check the flights from Chile to Argentina...it's your best shot. If you guys are calm, and don't make a huge mess there, I believe he won't mind. I mean, it's his first time there, he'll probably be glad to feel your support!

'my interpretation' though. this is what 'I' will never do. but stardom is made of that also...and mika knows
veroMica
Some of us in the Argentinian Thread and Argentinian Fan Club have already talked about this. If he wants us to know, he'll surely tweet about it like he did when he visited Mexico. Otherwise, I don't know, personally I won't go I think. Besides, it's not easy to get close with all the security guards here; sometimes it's not as easy as some may think.

But fans should not mob him too much, and should not touch him without permission. that's important! the airport is just the first step of a long chain of stalkerish episodes IMO.and i think i've never seen calmness and respect in an airport welcome...have you? there's no line, no barriers... Just wait. that's all you can do! when he visited Seoul last year 20 ppl waited for him about 8 hours. but no one went to airport to welcome him in this year. I can't even imagine him having security in Toronto for instance.

I think there's a huge difference, for me, being a stalker is something way more invasive than waiting for him at the airport, specially in a country where he has never been. I never waited for him at an airport, I'm too shy to do that, to be honest. But that's just me. I understand why people do it, I just don't do it myself... Agree! If fans are ready to behave gentle, airport greeting is good thing. But fans should not mob him too much, and should not touch him without permission. that's important! Exactly! I know latin american fans are known to be very emotional and all, but if they behave nicely, I guess Mika will appreciate it. On the other hand, people, don't go to the hotel to try to meet him. THAT I know he doesn't like (he told it himself).
Cecilia Barrios
Of course we are all anxious to see I think we should take it easy on Mika is a quiet person and I think those things you have to let everything flow smoothly. insurance after you finish your presentation will come to greet his fans as he did and always will because he has great respect for his fans I´m organized a marathon to give a warm welcome via twitter for all Latin American countries to send their messages. Every time you write a message #WelcomeMikaSouthAmerica here are some links to confirm the event information http://twitpic.com/e/oyn http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=147673028609367¬if_t=event_wall#wall_posts

I can't even imagine him having security in Toronto for instance. The local promo team hires security guards for these things. The security guards and local promo ppl pick him up at the airport, and they involved in the queue things and all security process during the gig. They also make line when he wants to sign things. So John have few thing to do for the queueing ppl becuz the local team cares everything I think this process is not common thing in Europe or N.America..One guard who escorted Mika all day said that when he followed Mika going toilet he was really embarassed and said "nooooo no no thx"

I can totally understand this. In some ways when he's in his hotel, he's 'home' and off duty, so should be able to relax.

The way he thanked us for not waiting for him at the hotel (when we went there to deliver the "fresh products" ) seemed really really honest. (little he knows we were PANICKING, just to think that he (or anyone from his family and staff) COULD appear at the hotel lobby... aw man...we could never be stalkers... )
