La coupe du monde démarre ce vendredi au Stade de France avec un match sous haute-tension. Une face à face entre la France et les All Blacks de Nouvelle-Zélande. Mais avant cette première confrontation entre les deux équipes, une cérémonie d’ouverture va lancer officiellement ce tournoi d’envergure. Un spectacle co-créé par Jean Dujardin avec la participation d'un beau gratin d'acteurs culturels français dont deux chanteurs français : Zaz et Vianney. Devant près de 80 000 spectateurs, ils viendront enflammer le Stade de France avant le lancement de la dixième édition de cette Coupe du monde de Rugby. Le premier match a lieu ce vendredi au Stade de France et il est d'envergure : la France affrontera les All Blacks de Nouvelle-Zélande. Une rencontre qui promet d'être explosive ! Peu avant le premier coup de sifflet, les 80.000 spectateurs présents dans le stade, et les millions d'autres derrière leurs télés, découvriront une cérémonie d'ouverture en tous points exceptionnelle. En effet, celle-ci durera 30 minutes et mettra en avant « le meilleur de la culture française », comme notre « art de vivre », et célébrera le « bicentenaire du rugby ». Cette opération mêlant musique et rugby est à l’initiative du comité d’organisation de la Coupe du Monde de Rugby 2023, de la Maîtrise Populaire de l’Opéra Comique, du ministère de la Culture et du ministère de l’Education Nationale et de la jeunesse. 7000 enfants, élèves du CM1 à la terminale, ont été sélectionnés pour chanter les hymnes des pays qui vont participer à la Coupe du Monde 2023 jusqu’au 28 octobre. Formés durant l’année scolaire 2022/23 par Sarah Koné et l’équipe pédagogique de la Maîtrise Populaire de l’Opéra-Comique, 52 professeurs de l’Education Nationale ont mobilisé 300 professeurs pour former les enfants qui composeront cette Mêlée des Chœurs qui compte 26 chorales autour des 9 villes hôtes de la compétition. Des jeunes choristes, qui ont appris les hymnes nationaux des 20 pays participant à la compétition, et ont reçu les conseils du chanteur Mika, parrain de l’opération. Seuls les hymnes du match d’ouverture et des 8 matches de phase finale seront chantés en direct par les chœurs Il y a malgré tout un bémol dans ce beau projet. Si initialement les hymnes devaient être interprétés en direct sur le terrain avant chaque rencontre, ce ne sera finalement pas systématique. Les mesures de précautions destinées à préserver la qualité des pelouses et le fait que, dans 7 stades sur 9, les équipements de sonorisation ne permettent pas la diffusion dans des conditions de qualité artistique satisfaisante des chœurs, ont contraint les organisateurs à restreindre les interprétations en live. Ainsi, seuls les hymnes du match d’ouverture (France/Nouvelle-Zélande le 8 septembre au Stade de France) et des 8 matches de phase finale (à Marseille et Saint-Denis) seront chantés en direct par les chœurs présent sur le terrain, sous la direction de Sarah Koné ou Clara Brenier, cheffes de chœurs de la Maîtrise Populaire de l’Opéra-Comique. Pour 39 autres matches de poule, chaque chœur a enregistré les hymnes travaillés aux côtés des Maîtrisiens de l’Opéra-Comique au cours des mois de mai et juin 2023.
